“I cannot recommend this auto shop enough. I’m from out of state, and was interested in purchasing a 2013 535i BMW from a Maryland dealership. I booked a pre-purchase inspection with Airport Automotive. Not only was the pricing reasonable and competitive, but the service was fantastic. Despite the dealership dropping the car off an hour late (which I’m incredibly sorry for), Marcin still took great care in looking over the vehicle. They know these cars. I got a thorough and detailed outline of what Marcin found with the car, ranging from minor cosmetic damages I wouldn’t have been able to see to the passenger door actuator not working. Marcin checked the car top to bottom, and then spent 25 minutes on the phone with me to walk me through what he found, what to know if I were to look to repair those issues, and gave his professional opinion on the car. His inspection saved me from purchasing a car with a few thousand worth of repairs needing to be completed. If I were local, this shop would be the first place I’d go. “I had a great experience at Dynamic Automotive! The people were very nice and friendly, and explained everything my car would need for the repairs. And they also provided an estimate with pictures of everything that needed to be done, and other maintenance that will need to be done in the future. I dropped my car off when they opened and they said it would be done by the end of the day, and it was! They also fixed a tail light that hasn’t worked properly for years, and that no other auto repair shop was ever able to fix! “Can’t speak much to their work because they barely touched my truck. Like all of us, I’m trying to keep an older vehicle on the road. My first option is always to do it myself and when I am unable, try to find a local shop.
I read the positive reviews and decided try Calvin’s when my transmission started acting up. He ran the diagnostics and said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Suggested a few options to check on my own but that he was confident it wasn’t the transmission. I asked him how much for the diagnostics. He refused, handed me back my keys and told me to call him if I ever have any other transmission problems.
You can spend a ton of money throwing money and parts at a vehicle. The shops a little tough to find but finding a stand-up mechanic is even tougher. Give ‘em a shot. Can a business gain a customer by NOT doing something? Yes…yes they can.”
