Earlier that same day, my daughter and I had toured another apartment and were leaning toward it—but everything changed after we arrived here. The apartments themselves are beautiful, spotless, and have such a great atmosphere. The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything, including restaurants and the university—which makes it even more appealing. On top of that, the community offers a wide range of amenities that really elevate the living experience. Carol completely won us over. She gave an exceptional tour, spending plenty of time with us, really listening to what my daughter is looking for, and thoughtfully walking us through all the options. Her professionalism, polish, and genuine care stood out immediately—she made us feel informed, comfortable, and truly valued. Ryan helped us complete the paperwork online. He guided us through the application and leasing website with patience and clarity, making the process smooth and stress-free. “455 Eye is a great place to live! The building is beautiful, and all the staff are wonderful, from Ashli in the leasing office, to Z, Irvette, and Kim at the front desk. Ms. Kim was so kind when I was moving in and brought a bunch of my packages up to my unit, placing them right by my door for me. Legesse with the maintenance crew is fantastic. I had multiple maintenance requests early on, and Legesse came by very quickly each time and fixed the issues. Everyone I’ve encountered is friendly, and I’m very happy here.”

“We moved one of our adult children into 425 Mass in July ‘26 based on a video of the unit and a few phone calls & emails. I’m glad we did. The team here - maintenance & cleaners, front desk and leasing office are attentive, kind and watchful. All are real guest service stars. The building and unit look great. Only concern - the AI voice gatekeeper is the absolute worst implementation of AI that I’ve ever encountered. We almost leased elsewhere because of that. Once you get past it, the people on site make up for the ivory tower error.”

“I have been living at Alton District for almost two months now and this apartment building has by far been the best living experience I’ve had in the city. I’ve lived in neighborhoods all over D.C. over the course of 5 years and nothing compares to Alton District. The location and the modern units are fantastic, but what really makes Alton District stand out is the people that work here. Alex (the property manager) is incredibly responsive and helpful, and Cecelia at the front desk is an absolute gem - she knows every resident, is so kind, and is always thoughtful. I highly highly recommend living here!”

“First of all, the location is great. I enjoyed jogging every morning to the White House, the Capitol, and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. There are many delicious restaurants and cafes nearby. This is the best location for sightseeing in Washington. It was a two-bedroom room, and one room had an independent bathroom and closet, so it was comfortable, and the other room had a wide bed and closet, so it was comfortable for four people to stay without being cramped. The living room was surprisingly spacious and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. (However, the knife was not very sharp.) I stayed for a week and enjoyed Washington to the fullest. I will definitely use it the next time I visit.”

Prior to moving in, Nieema (one of the leasing staff), was very helpful with answering our questions and kind enough to even provide us with an impromptu tour when were passing through the neighborhood. Now that we're settled in, I think the value for rent is one of the best in this area. Great location and strong brick building! We had a minor issue with our dryer upon moving - we submitted a ticket and the following morning it was resolved. The entire staff and concierge, Grover, have all been wonderful. Highly recommend!”

“Came in for a 4 pm appointment to view apartments, my car broke down where the maintenance men had to help out. Which I give 5 stars for because they were so patient and helped me out for. They did a lot for someone that isn’t a tenant. The apartment itself was nice, Cal or Kal did a great job. These apartments are too far of a commute for my fiancé and I’s jobs/career we have which I told Cal/Kal about. Me, having to travel to Vienna and Springfield and for him for PG county. Everyone did a great job of course! And appreciate the patience from the people in the leasing office!”

“I’m a current resident here at 1800 Oak Apartments. I’ve been a resident here for seventeen years. When you find something that works you stick with it. I absolutely love the dog park and grilling areas. The other residents make living here a happy home as well. There’s a concierge, Kendra who is awesome, if I can’t walk my dog she’ll help me and take him to the dog park. As I am disabled some days are harder than others. Many times my deliveries are left at concierge desk and she’ll kindly remind the driver this order was scheduled to be delivered at the front door. If I should have a package that’s enormously heavy Kendra will bring it up. I lost my vision several years back and Kendra had known but the beauty was whenever she saw me she said it’s Kendra on your right. She knew I didn’t see well anymore being legally blind. Fernando, Tee ( Assistant Manager), Ranolodo and Howa are all wonderful, professional, respectful individuals that know friendliness goes far and is best with professionalism. This is our home and it’s understood a kind smile and quick answered service requests help to be comfortable. Also, the residents are so kind. One resident gives all the dogs she runs into doggy treats. The building manager is so kindhearted. She’s very personable and intent on getting your needs met. The first time my dog met her he jump up all over her. That a huge sign to me, especially when he barks at everyone he doesn’t know. Faren is easy to talk to, she’s very friendly and she makes me smile. Anyone looking for a homie apartment where the residents will hold the elevator for you. Where you can walk your dog around the pet park, grill outside and use the fabulous gym and pool. Also, where the concierges and maintenances workers are so willing to offer there services in the kindest way. Please check out the beautiful apartments and wonderful amenities here at 1800 Oak Apartments. You won’t be disappointed!!!”

“I have been living at Mosaic for about two weeks now and my experience has been great. I first visited the property in July and toured a unit with Danielle. She was thorough, allowed me to take my time during the tour and answered all of my questions. The application process was simple and straightforward and I received an approval pretty fast. Prior to move-in, a comprehensive checklist was provided, making the process easy. All of the ladies in the leasing office were very nice and accommodating to any needs I had on move in day. Again, very thorough and I barely had any questions or concerns that needed to be addressed afterwards. The unit has exceeded my expectations, the building is quiet and I’ve had no issues with parking. The grounds are kept nice and hallways are clean as well, which I really appreciate. I feel like I made a great choice with Mosaic at Metro and would absolutely refer friends/family to inquire when in the market for a new home.”

“Berkshire15 has been such an amazing place to live, and I’d recommend it to anyone. The units are beautiful - great appliances, wonderful light, and spacious layouts. I have also enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the beautiful rooftop. But the best part of all might be the staff - Owen, Jeremy, Gerry, Jacob, Jasmine, Dontrell and the rest of the team have made it such a welcoming place to live. From the moment I lived here, it was clear that this is a well-maintained, thoughtfully designed building. The amenities alone set it apart. The pool is great during summer, clean, spacious, and genuinely enjoyable during the warmer months. The clubhouse is equally impressive, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment with features like a pool table and plenty of space to relax or unwind. When I was still in school, the building was especially valuable to me because of the multiple quiet and well-kept study areas. It made balancing life and work significantly easier. However, what truly elevates The Alloy beyond just a “nice building” is the people. I want to give special recognition to Ms. Tiffany, a leasing agent who went far beyond what was required of her. She assisted me in re-letting my apartment during a time when I truly needed help, despite the fact that she did not have to take on that responsibility. Her willingness to step in and support me quite literally saved me from months of financial strain. That kind of character, initiative, and genuine care is rare, and it made a lasting impact on me. I would also like to acknowledge the leasing manager, who fosters a professional and well-run environment within the building. It’s clear that there is strong leadership behind the scenes that contributes to the smooth experience residents have. All in all, The Alloy is more than just a place to live, it’s a place where you are supported, where the environment is conducive to both productivity and relaxation, and where the staff truly make a difference.
