“It wasn't necessarily a bad experience, but the issue didn't get resolved. When the maintenance man arrived, the drain was working, but five minutes after he left the water started bubbling up again. I called him to let him know, and recoded a video to show him. The maintenance man said he'll be back later, or tomorrow. He didn't show. The kitchen sink is still bubbling water. I put in a new ticket yesterday, and as of yet no one showed up to fix the drain.”

“Good morning! I'm new to this Google Review Post Scan Thing. It looks like I reposted an old Review. But THIS IS THE NEW ONE. This past week I had my broken Dishwasher installed. I was so happy Tony was the Installer. He gave me the opportunity to sweep and mop the area before installing my New Dishware. I also found a hole whilst I was sweeping and he went and got something to fill that hole. Tony is KIND, PROFESSIONAL, and he knows his stuff. THANK YOU TONY!!!!!”

“Rented a 369 sq. ft. studio for one year, paying $1,389/mo in concession rent (13 month lease), $120/mo for a parking space, and $100/mo for electric (altogether ~$1,600/mo). Comprehensive review: We genuinely enjoyed living here (with a couple exceptions), and we're only vacating to relocate. While I can only speak to my own experience, many of the negative reviews on this building are either (1) nitpicky or (2) ignorant of challenges that aren't this building's fault, but rather accompany living anywhere at all (e.g., pipes bursting from the cold). Pros: - My unit (and presumably all other units) are actually nice, and they don't feel cheap - The rent is fair, at least for today's prices - Being right next to the district court, higher-income neighborhoods, and office buildings, the surrounding area is usually fairly quiet and safe - Soundproof units; I didn't even know that I had neighbors for the first 6 months - Minimal pests (only a couple bugs, but no infestations and zero rodents) - Super close to the red line & MARC station Cons: - Management was very hard to get ahold of. This was at least partially attributable to the constantly-shifting staff - Many common spaces frequently smelled bad. Odors ranged from garbage to dog urine - Some of the concierges were quite unfriendly and acted bothered when asked to do anything - For most months of the year, there's a resident of the building who will stand on the corner of Apple and 2nd, rabidly screaming through all hours of the night (I wish I was joking) - Repairs following a huge water leakage have been very slow and disruptive to certain residents. While our unit wasn't effected directly, many others were Nowhere is perfect, but anyone giving this a one-star review clearly has never experienced a one-star apartment building”

“I had a really positive experience with Mandi at the Ridgewood leasing office. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and transparent throughout the entire process. What I appreciated most was that she actually showed me the exact unit I would be renting, which is something hardly any apartment community is willing to do. She even took the time to show me the probable parking spots and explain everything clearly. Unfortunately, I couldn’t move forward with signing the lease because I found another apartment at a similar price much closer to my workplace, so the location ultimately made more sense for me. However, I genuinely appreciated Mandi’s help and professionalism throughout the process. I also really liked Ridgewood’s self-guided tour option—it made touring very convenient and stress-free. Overall, a great leasing experience, and a special thank you to Mandi for being so helpful and transparent!”

Thanks a lot for the new administration! Property manager Sarah and the new guy at the office is working hard to get improvements and every single time I go to the office they work quick and efficiently at the top of that they are even working to get my rent payment reduced with Montgomery county , just amazing! I’m very well treated ! Definitely getting my lease renewed and I can see that our community will be one of the safest and best to leave in silver spring!”

“I have been here for 7 months and have talked to tenants who have been living here for over 15 years and told me that some mentally unstable people moved into this beautiful old building that's when the building became very dirty and filthy.,,Because of some people on section 8 really never lived in a building like this before and couldn't appreciate the fact that these older apartments are much larger than the newer ones so don't blame the owner put the blame on ungrateful people who doesn't understand how to live in a family friendly apartment building.,,Let me tell you that this is a very nice community of nice people who live in this fine older building.,, You get rid of the trouble makers this building will be great again just like it used to be and that's the bottom line.”
