“This Capital One Bank branch is about two miles from my home since I moved a few months ago to a different part of the Silver Spring area. I sought out the closet branch as I needed a document notarized. This is a more modern branch inside and out than the one I previously visited in Rockville MD on Rockville Pike. Making the left turn off Georgia Avenue to get there was not very difficult even without a traffic light. There's a small but sufficient parking lot & 2 drive thru banking lanes. When I entered the lobby an associate was there to greet me. She helped direct me to the person & place I needed to go. Having called the day before I knew there's always more than one notary available. I was put on a list as one of them was off the floor & on their break. I was told that I could take a seat at one of the tables on the left but as I needed a very specific amount of cash out of my account ($68) I got in line for a teller. There are five windows with only one open for customers. I waited about 3 minutes to be called forward by a male associate that emerged from the back. The teller was also my notary. He helped me get my cash after checking my id & handing me a withdrawal slip to sign. He told me that I could actually get very specific amounts of cash now from the ATM at this branch. I noticed that there was also an ATM at the back of the lobby. My transaction was quick and I was told to wait at one of the tables behind me where he meet me 30 seconds later. Having seen my document at the teller window he knew where I needed to fill it out. After which he signed it & stamped it. The transaction was recorded in a log book and I was done. All the associates were friendly and helpful & my tasks here were done in just about 12 minutes. I was happy to have this item off my to-do list! Until next time be kind to each other! #capitalone #notaryservice #banking #personalservice”

“I don't even bank here but I was impressed by my visit I had to review. I was in desperate need for quarters for my apt's coin laundry in the basement down in Glover Park. I work out in Rockville and bank with a credit union with limited locations and hours so I was weighing my options for quick quarters so I can have clean laundry less than 24 hours before an international flight. When I arrive I was promptly greeted by two ladies who directed me to their business window. Predictably there was a long wait with it being a Friday compounded by the fact it was the weekend before the holidays. When I got to the window I asked to change 40 into quarters. Cindy asked me if I was a member. I said no fully expecting a finance charge. instead she gave me my quarters and mentioned that they do 20 fee free as a courtesy for non members but since I waited in line she obliged and gave me all the quarters I wanted. I wish that Wells Fargo as an entity matched the level of service of their own branch employees which would compel me to bank with them. U”

“This is a huge bank of America building . It has a good sized parking places . Inside it has 8-10 teller windows but limited staff sometimes behind there and the lines get too big and sometimes have to wait for sometime to get helped But I know they can be better . They have deposit slip desks in middle of the place and they have 6 management desks to help people in need but must have appointments to do so from time to time . But I would like to suggest to have coffee and doughnuts for those that come in there to make them feel more at home on fridays and saturdays like other banks . It has a huge security vault for safety deposit boxes . Outside it has a ATM machine that needs better security than just video cameras to prevent crime . Plus they have a Double drive through windows . It needs police surveillance in that area to keep crime low there . Plus they need better firewalls on their computers so hacker and scammers do not get to anyone personal information when having people for customers . That is one of the most things that banks will not or refuse to guarantee anyone . I have no idea as to why . They need better security on their computers and ATM machines To prevent identity thefts and crimes from occuring . So come on down to bank of American In Wheaton ,MD and get an experience I hope you will not soon forget , Even though I see some that didn't have great experiences but give them a second chance to be better . They look forward to seeing all of you very soon on your next adventure visit there .”
