“Never been to a Highs before was a neat mix of a classic diner and an convince gas station. Chicken was good, wedges were good, my breakfast bowl was loaded up good, ice cream selection reminded me of a classic dinner corner store. Staff was very nice at this location. It was just by chance that we stopped by, but this was a pretty cool detour we took and this was a nice suprise.”

“I could write a book about this pharmacy because I have been with them since before they relocated. Over the years, I have consistently received outstanding service, compassion, and support.
Unnisa is the best! She was very patient and went above and beyond to help my family. She waited for information from Children’s Hospital regarding my baby’s blood pressure medication, which could have resulted in my child being admitted to the hospital until the insurance approved coverage for the medicine. Instead, she worked tirelessly to help make sure my baby received the medication she needed. Her kindness, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile made a difficult situation much easier for our family.
I will forever be grateful to Unnisa and the entire team behind her. We could not have asked for better people to support us during this time. Their professionalism, care, and commitment to helping families truly make a difference.
Rather than writing a book, I’ll simply say: Great job, team! Keep up the outstanding work. My only suggestion is that there should be more opportunities for promotions and recognition because employees like Unnisa and the rest of the staff truly deserve it.

“Great little stop for gas, food, and whatever else you might need like a lotto card.. but 7-11 is especially nice because of the atm inside. If you have a credit union then chances are it won't cost you a fee to use (check first of course)!”
“Made and purchased 3 wall calendars for Christmas gifts. The pictures came out very nicely on them and the family appreciated receiving them. It was only after all gifts were sent that it was noticed the calendars did not have holes punched in to hang and the binding was too small to actually move the pages from one month to the other. Had to ask my family to punch their own holes in the hopes they would be even and not go through pictures (they wouldn't have in the display I looked over before ordering). Also, family will have to rip off months after using as the pages cannot be fully opened. Disappointed this was not caught by the photo staff prior to sending them out for paid delivery.”

“This 7-Eleven location is probably the best I’ve ever been to - others in the area don’t compare. So much so, I try to stop by a few times a week on my way to work. The coffee is always fresh, the shelves are always stocked, and there’s always fresh donuts in a morning. The staff have been incredibly friendly to me, and being new to the area it makes me feel welcomed.
I joined the 7-Eleven Gold Pass purely based on how this store is. Thank you, you guys are crushing it and I appreciate you! Keep up the great work.”

“I'm share a positive shout out for this highs convenience store First of all, I really enjoy the fact that highs still serves hand scooped ice cream that's a old fashion luxury you can find in many places evening, so-called ice cream stores that serve soft, serve ice cream This past Sunday, 14 May, Mother's Day, I stopped in there and a gentleman name. Sean greeted me at the door. As I expected, I saw my favorite ice cream flavor and his partner and coworker very artfully. Serve me a scoop of ice cream and treated me like a gentleman. I even inquired around the restroom and they graciously showed me where to find it warning me that one of the restaurants was out of order. I had to pinch myself because I thought I went back in the Time Machine when manners and Customer Service, or something that was common place like maybe three decades are for decades ago”

“CVS in Mount Airy beats all my previous pharmacy's. I receive a text when my prescription is due to be refilled, and then when it's ready for pickup. If my refills are out, they usually contact the doctor. They save me much time in my busy schedule. I'll never return to my previous pharmacy. The people behind the counter are always pleasant.”

“This is where I get prints made of my photos. They turn out very well. I mostly get prints of nature photos, mostly 8x10 but sometimes 16x20. I’m pretty sure they are dye sublimation prints so should be archival (something like 65 years, not 10,000 years, but I can’t say for sure). The people that handle the photo printing have always taken good care of me there.”
