“On one of my many trips back home for the month long birthdays I had to attend I needed to stop and pick up a gift card or two. That is basically why I stopped here. Honestly, I had no idea that Giant Eagle reached this far. I was shocked when I found one in Bedford, PA, but for one to be here, it threw me.This Giant Eagle is part of a larger plaza, I guess you can say that it is the anchor as it is by far the biggest retailer in the plaza. Parking is ample and can make for a quick entry/exit.Inside it is well organized and everything appeared to be stocked. I didn't look around too much as my mind was on gift cards only. I went straight to that area and started to browse.I have to say, they had a fine selection of gift cards and made choosing one a bit hard. I circled the display a few times before honing in on one section and then stayed there for a few good minutes having an inner debate on which gift card would be most appropriate.Once the selection was made I headed for the registers. Made sure to scan my rewards card and was out the door.”
“I love ‘em! Mary Jean, Mike, and Joann are great to talk tea with. They have made a custom blend for me for 7 or 8 years. Great shop, great tea, great service and most important great people.”
“Love this store in the still-operating apple processing factory. It's great for gifts. They package nice selections of their jams and other products together in a basket or tin bowls, etc. The store is just fun to poke through and to get apples and cider in season.”

“Best place to stop for fresh vegetables. Most items here are unbelievably cheap. Fruits and nuts are also very affordable compared to other places. Becoming a member takes only 2 minutes, and it's worth to stop here more often..”

“This is a very good independent grocery store! I'm a regular Mom's Organic Market shopper. This store is better in some ways such as wider selection of products. I believe Mom's produce might be a bit more extensive based on my search for organic ginger roots. I didn't find any at Common Market. However 4.5 stars would be my more accurate rating. I'm delighted that enough people got together to form a co-op. I will make it a point to return when I'm back in Frederick.”
“Fantastically helpful customer service, as always, with great product selections all around. (Including things I simply don't find elsewhere!)I'm also very grateful for their decision to make a designated clearance section in the back of the store! It's in a very nook-like location, out of the way, making it much more comfortable and convenient to actually browse the marked down items! I love shopping at this location and highly recommend it!”

“This is a small Military Store used by Soldiers and Federal workers. It is a place where the Troops can pick up beverages of all kinds, accouterments for their uniforms, health and beauty products, etc. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's worth 5 stars, but falls short because of size.”
“If you have military privileges, take the time to shop here. It's a small commissary. But the management apparently has done their homework. They know what rotates. They know what goes stale. They will be out of produce from time to time. But that's how they keep it fresh. Their choices of ethnic foods is limited, but if they carry it it's probably because it's good. In times when you have to pinch pennies, shop here first you'll save money.”
“The meat here is incredible. I recommend this store to anyone who enjoys clean, quality meat. The representative there was also very helpful and friendly. He knew where everything was and could help me decide on how to cut the lamb I purchased. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you”

“I love this market ! They have everything from all nationalities and cookware . It's always clean , fresh produce and products. It has its own small bakery and Asian restaurants inside . Also they have a perfume / jewelry station . They have a seafood department, I think this is a market needed all over !”
“The store has a large variety of items even balloons with helium. Everything from candy to kitchen utensils. Its a bit unorganized but you will find what you needed. diapers safety pins cotton even a lint roller.”

“Great gas prices, but a bit difficult to get into with a motorhome and trailer. The exit is behind the building and across some other parking lots. Will still get gas there, Love the fact that their dollar limit is enough to fill the motorhome without having to reinsert credit card a second time.”
“Great local store. Parking is close to door. Employees are very friendly and helpful. It is becoming my new regular store. Good cheese selection, bread not bad, Fruit and veg usually something new and items on sale. Use to shop at Weis but the employees here are happier and more helpful.”
“EDIT: I recently went back to the store after learning there was a change in management and had a great experience. The owner is kind and the staff is good. The prices aren't bad either. I'm happy with this experience.Previous review from 4 years ago before new management:Although the meats are good, we’ve always had bad experiences here. Sometimes the guy at the register gets noisy and looks at my balance in my card and comments on it. That gets on my nerves a lot. but today i’ve decided to never shop here again. i’ll look for another halal store because some of the staff members are petty.”

“Great, large store. Has a huge variety of quality items. Wegmans store brand is also great quality. It's a very busy store and parking area, but have never had to wait for parking. This store tends to be a little overpriced compared to other stores, but there are a few things I only buy at Wegmans that I can't find comparably elsewhere. The inside of the store is sometimes very busy, but they do a pretty good job of keeping things in stock and having enough registers open. They are friendly and helpful.”

“Great service. I called because I needed green plantains and I often go to supermarkets and they might have plantains, but they can be ripe, or semi. The store is very clean, and it is very well lit. The butcher shop is well run, and the butcher is very energetic. You will enjoy his music! I also asked for a recommendation for a restaurant —because I am not from this area —and the the cashiers were very helpful”
“Great Latino market in Walkersville. The cashier went out of her way to open the door for me and my baby who was in a stroller. They have a variety of foods from Mexico and Central American countries. They carry the best corn tortillas you can buy ( El milagro), fresh vegetables, herbs for Latino cooking, and basic staples like milk. So glad to have a Latino market close to Walkersville, Linganore and Thurmont.”

“I get very picky with Korean food because I know what authentic Korean food tastes like. Having said that, Sogongdong@Frederick is equal if not better than many Korean restaurants in Korea serving tofu soup. In fact any dish Sogongdong House serves (eg bibimbab or japchae) tastes authentic- so you can choose with confidence.Pricing is really competitive, since I don't have to go back Korea to taste home food hehe. At this price it is a no-brainer for quality food. So when I get tired of the local food with simple x-y axis of sweet and salty as the only dimensions of flavor, I come here to do a palate indulgence and remind myself of the depth of flavor I am capable of appreciating. Seafood tofu soup is amazing. If I don't pay attention I end up sipping the soup and cross my eyes to stare into the abyss of warmth that my soul envelops around. Service is great- you can walk over to the stall and ask for a bit more kimchi and they will gladly top it up. Ambience is very casual as it is a food court, great for in-promptu family dinner and the kids are hugely entertained by a korean stationery store and robo-picker games. It also helps that there is sushi, fried chicken and dumplings from other stalls as well, making this place a one-stop world-cuisine.”

“The store is nice but when you are shopping and someone is following you through out the store as if they think you are stealing makes you want to spend your money elsewhere. Not sure if tha man following us around the store works there or not. But may just have to find another store to shop after today. But I will say the cashier was great and we did spend almost $200 with the grandkids coming you do have to grab some snacks along with some other things but she checked us out quickly.”

“Went to see a friend and decided to stop at this little market! Loved it, they sell local foods from near by farmers and had blue point oysters!! Who knew, I will hit this place at least once a month. Very clean, employee's are very friendly. Thanks for the great small town (home) feel. Being a native of Sykesville I have seen the changes from farms to developments ? this town is not changing for some time! Love it”
