Pet Grooming

I’ve been going to DSG for years now and honestly can’t imagine taking my dog anywhere else. The girls treat each and every dog like their own with love and care. I’ve never once had a bad experience and my dogs been groomed by all of the groomers! Everyone is very professional and polite and they are more than willing to accommodate wants/needs within reason. Highly suggest giving them a shot if you haven’t yet !

I have used this practice for 20 years. Dr. Smith and Dr. Bastien are very knowledgeable and professional. The Techs are wonderful as well. They all care about the animals they treat and make me feel like my pet is in good hands. I haven't had much interaction with the other vets in the practice.

Amesbury animal hospital all the way!!! We went to them for an emergency in February with one of our dogs and they were so phenomenal with him that we ended up taking our other two dogs here. We have two English mastiffs and a shepherd black lab mix and they were so accepting of our dogs. They are so amazing and caring about all animals and owners.
They are owner operated and deal with ALL animals! They are truly amazing!!!

Hodgie's Ice Cream

Exactly what you wish for in a New England ice cream stand, terrific ice cream, lots of flavor options, generous portions and friendly staff. We have stopped here many times this summer on our way home from the beach and it is the perfect way to end a summer day. I highly recommend milk chocolate almond since I seldom see a milk chocolate ice cream, as well as the excellent soft serve. Size warning: even the 1/4 kiddie is generous, we have started ordering a Hodgie's Cup.
