“We're so glad that we went with Hancock for the job! It's been wonderful to be able to stretch out into the new space. Bedtime for the kids has been going so much better now that they have their own rooms and we love how the rest of the spaces turned out. “Boston Counters did a great job on the removal and installation of the new counters, new sink, and faucet in my kitchen. They were very professional and helpful from the initial material sections to the final installation. Their measuring specialist used a computer generated laser measuring device for an accurate measurement. Finally, their installing group did a fantastic job on the installations. We are very happy with the outcome. We definitely recommend them.”
“Shopped at Duck Soup recently for the first time in quite a while. I was hoping to find a particular kitchen appliance and buy from a local shop instead of online. Found exactly what I wanted AND price was actually better than Amazon. Found several other gifts and stocking stuffers also. The shop is a very welcoming place to browse, with a very interesting variety of kitchen goods, food and liquor items, and international specialties. Definitely worth a visit!”

Within just four hours of hearing about the problem, they provided me with a replacement cartridge at no charge. Outstanding customer service and a great experience overall. “Cherry is amazing! we ordered kitchen cabinets from her in 2021, and not only they arrived on time with much shorter manufacturing times (all other places we visited had 9 to 12 months wait back in 2021), but she made sure all measurements and specifications are correct (she came to measure several times, after the demolition and then again right after the walls were already closed). The cabinets arrived on time, good quality and they are beautiful. It's been really great working with her! highly recommend CBC Kitchen and Cherry!”

Eduarda was our salesperson. She was patient and attentive to our needs and a great help in selecting the suitable stone for our new counters. However, the customer service continued after the sale; everyone we spoke to or dealt with until the job was complete was outstanding. “Friend to the rescue! This is probably the third or forth project where our contractor forgot to get materials or obtained the wrong sizes. A call to Friend Lumber has almost always been the solution. Their materials are quality, their knowledge is tops, their staff is professional, and the guys who deliver are just great. We always buy here if we can for our DIY homeowner projects, but they have also been responsive to our last minute needs when contractors muck up. They have been great about getting materials to us fast, and letting us know when it just can't be done. We find their prices competitive. We will keep buying here whenever we can.”

Because of her wonderful customer service skills, we ultimately went with Onyx for updating our kitchen. “After wasting hours attempting to buy a kitchen faucet for store pickup from Home Depot I researched local plumbing supply stores. I assumed Bath showcase would offer only high end fixtures (as opposed to single faucet!) but Nick at Bath Showcase was able to find a faucet in my price range. They had it in stock ready to pick up the next day and I saved $20 over Home Depot. This was a small sale for them but when we decide to remodel kitchen or bath we will contact Nick. Lesson learned, don't run to big box stores, support local businesses!”
