“I went to Chris about my laptop that was a little over 11 years old. I was just trying to determine if it was time to retire it and get a new one or if it could be overhauled for some more life. He's an awsome guy and knows his stuff. He's fairly priced and the only reason I didn't have him work on the laptop was to no fault of his. It just made more sense to put that money towards the next laptop. He was also more than happy to let me pick his brain on some specs for my next laptop, and If I have any issues in the future I know exactly who to go to. Would highly recomend.”

“Mac and PC Guys were where I took my PC to have it diagnosed and fixed. They were quick, diagnosing the problem and fixing it same day, and were extremely understanding of my financial situation, being flexible enough to allow me to find a way to pay for everything. It might still be expensive for someone poverty level like me, but for this level of service and care, you probably won't find anything better for the price”
“This review is for those considering service plans offered by some of the big names like Best Buy.
My wife and I went with Best Buy about four years ago. Used them a few times since then. The last time was a few weeks ago with my HP ENVY laptop. It was booting up and operating slowly. A Best Buy service person took control of the laptop via cyberspace, did a few things and it worked fine for a short period of time until recently when it became unusable. I took it to Somerville computers and left it with Mario overnight. We communicated two times by phone. In the end, he backed up files, replaced the Windows operating system (which had damaged files) and replaced it with the most recent version. He also uploaded Microsoft Outlook. I had email back along with my high speed laptop for a very reasonable price.
The bottom line is this; the big guys can have talented folks but in general you luck out when you actually get one. Why not go to a local guy who by all reviews is highly experienced and reasonable? Like most good things nowadays, stay local, buy local.”

“Let me begin by saying that Somerville Computers deserves 5+ Stars for being an excellent Computer Repair Store and Mario, who is the CEO of the place deserves 10+ Stars for being the best "Computer Wizard" in Massachusetts! Mario is also a wonderful, kind and gracious person and I had the good fortune of meeting him last year when I had problems with my Hard drive and was desperate for help. Mario put my fears to rest and fixed the problem and also gave me good advice on the maintenance of my computer. I had a similar problem yesterday and went into the store and received excellent help. Apparently Mario is quite famous locally, as during my cab drive home the Cab Driver informed me that Mario is very well known and respected throughout Somerville for his above average Computer services - So Thank you Mario for being such a Valuable Asset to the City of Somerville!”

“Ferdinand is an amazing resource. He comes to the office to fix problems but takes the time to ask questions before coming to see if it can be fixed over the phone. I find him to be very competent, and he has a very friendly and pleasant manner. And he doesn't make us feel like idiots for not being computer literate. He explains things well which really helps. We have found him to be a lifesaver since we are very dependent on our computers and network. It is wonderful to have his expertise available to us. I have worked with several IT people, and he is right at the top. And his fees are very reasonable.”

“Matt is great!! The other day I plugged the flash drive that holds my wedding videos into my computer & when I went to eject it, it broke into 3 pieces. After doing some research, I reached out to Matt & he had me bring the flash drive by his office. In less than 5 minutes, he was able to fix the flash drive & access the videos that I was so scared I lost. He is extremely kind & professional & I will absolutely use his services in the future!”

Today, I came in with a seemingly intractable problem with my phone, which 3 Apple people (chat and phone) couldn’t figure out. One of their geniuses (Miray) patiently listened to my saga, fixed it in a few minutes. I had about given up and was planning to live with the issue, frankly.”
“Jaden assisted my wife and I to help her select a new iPhone, learn updates in meaningful ways (we are young, and I would have said we knew how to use the cameras well. He showed us multiple things rapidly that were helpful and caught both of us by surprise), transfer our information to the phone, and checked on us multiple times while the transfer was happening to make sure we were on track. It was actually the best customer service I have experienced in years, and I work in a service industry. He was energetic and knowledgeable and to help us logic through decisions.
