“My two year old got her first leotard and ballet shoes here. The owner, Linda, was so helpful with ensuring that we bought the right fitting outfit for her class that is starting soon! Linda was very patient and kind with us and we cannot wait to return year after year. She made such a wonderful experience for my daughter that my daughter came home and showed her dad the dance things that we bought and said, "I love it". Thank you!”
“My wife and I have both purchased nice, quality shoes here, but their real bread and butter is the kids selection. Rather than purchasing cheaper shoes at Walmart, Target or similar that break, get ruined or kid grows out of in a few weeks, we decided to start going to Michelson's when our son started running around outside at daycare all the time and 100% do NOT regret it. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about inventory and the one time our son's shoes have torn in the four years we've been going, they let him exchange for a new pair. Every other pair have last for multiple seasons, and he's outside a LOT. he's also excited to go (and I've noticed other kids are as well) to see their "pet alligator" - who lives in a wall cavity behind the cash register. They knocked it out of the park with that thing.”
“Steve killed it today. I showed up at 11am on a Tuesday and the store was busy for a midweek day. Nonetheless Steve picked the ideal set of options for me in minutes and the first one was the winner. Walked out 30 minutes later with the most comfy shoes I’ve ever run in. Wallet was a bit lighter though :)”
“I think his name is Ron unfortunately I'm terrible at remembering names. Anyway he helped me for over an hour finding me shoes that would fit and not hurt since I have a collapsed ankle. He was extremely knowledgeable patient helpful and kind. He showed me a pair of Brooks running shoes that even he had as well as my orthopedic Dr. I watched him help others as well being extremely attentive to their needs. He helped more than one person at a time. Ron applies immense service and commitment to the store. A couple of weeks later I bought a folding chair that I saw outside and got a new one. The Maynard Outdoor Store has quality items and superb service. The staff that checks you out are extremely helpful patient and kind. I like the atmosphere it's very laid back and rustic. “Love my new pair of short boots. They are beautiful, made from the highest quality materials, and will last my lifetime. My posture has never been better, my lower back pain gone, and my sleep much deeper and more restful. Better than chiropractic, physical therapy, going to the gym, and acupuncture because it immediately corrects the root cause of the problem - the shape and strength of your arches!
Cons: The clogs take 8 weeks to be made and are a little noisy.”

“Really helpful sales people and great clothes for any age man. Over the holidays i was looking for a particular item that was sold out. I called customer service and got an agent that should be a trainer for all phone agents. He, Benjamin, tried his best to find the item and kept me informed as we went along. Ultimately i didn't get the item but it wasn't for lack of effort.”

“So, I had not idea I was a JJill girly. I popped in to see the dress selection for a rehearsal dinner. Tina pulled so many dresses that I was unsure about, but boy was she right! I ended up leaving buying two dresses that I LOVED but never would have pulled for myself. I also bought a shirt and jewelry. Tina really made my whole day, she made it feel like I was shopping with a thoughtful friend. I went home and tried all my new clothes to show my husband. He was also loving the new looks.”

“Good selection of shoes and they have socks and bags/purses and backpacks too. The prices are average, I thought it was more of a discount store, but the prices are more like Marshalls etc. Neither crazy high nor crazy low prices but overall it is a good place to shop”

“I am from California, and was just on a trip to the Northeast for the first time. I wandered into Footstock after having lunch in Concord. I really did not need shoes for this trip, but I saw the most perfect pair of lightweight leather slides that I need for a different trip later this year. The saleswoman was so helpful in assisting me to try the shoes, and informed me how to ensure that slides will stay on the foot, giving me a little pad for each shoe. I was wondering how I would get them home in my already full suitcase. I was musing aloud about having to press the shoes together, and leave their box behind. She offered to have them shipped, at my cost. I was very happy to accept that offer, because these are expensive shoes, over $200, and they deserve to be treated properly. And then....I was directed upstairs to the sale area!! Wow!!! Terrific styles and prices! I will most definitely return to Footstock when I visit my friends in the area again. An absolute gem of a shoe store! Thank you for all of your care.”
