“We had an issue with accounts, transfer, etcI was right and I knew I was right- but I’m not an easy person to deal with sometimes and they kept their composure and were incredibly polite. Carol was in particular very composed. It appears that people can still be kind in times of adversity which is encouraging. I recommend this bank to anyone accordingly”

“I had kind of a silly issue with my card I asked for assistance with today and the teller was super kind and helpful about it even though it quickly became clear that it was not on Eastern Bank’s end. He went to the ATM with me just in case there was something he could end up doing, (there wasn’t - I had locked my card and forgotten about it but didn’t realize until I was back in my car. Lol) which was cool. So, thanks for that! As someone with social anxiety it’s difficult for me to ask for help to begin with so I appreciated the positive interaction.
Also, I’ve been using this specific bank since I was 18 and have never had any issues. Recommended. ✨”
“I just completed a home equity line of credit with Rockland Trust and I have to say the whole process was very streamlined and I had great communication throughout. In particular I dealt with Laura Lombard out of the Abington branch and she was completely wonderful. She not only helped me apply for the HELOC but she had helped me open a Savings and Checking account for my special needs son prior thereto and I loved her immediately.”
“The Hanson Rockland Trust is a great bank with excellent employees. They are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous.A couple years ago my wife and I were both battling cancer & we got a call from the bank employees who all chipped in and sent my family 4 pizza’s.Every time I go in the bank, Jill or the bank manager asks how my kids are doing.I worked for America’s largest bank for 28 years & I can guarantee you, they would never do anything to assist a local family unless the cameras were on.”

“A family member recently became ill and I had to become responsible for all the financials. I walked into the bank distraught, One of the Tellers (Terri) explained since my name wasn’t on account she was unable to assist me but, recommended I speak with Ian Riley. Mr Riley was so kind. He took the time to explain to me the legalities and stated that the family member can appoint someone to help with financials. I immediately said he is sick not incompetent and Mr Riley calmed me down and took extra time to explain different options like having my name added to account or financial power document. I am grateful for Mr Riley’s assistance as he helped take one burden off me. Thank you Ian, Terri, Rose, Mikaela, and Maria for your kindness and support while our family deals with the stress of fighting a cancer diagnosis.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Jane today and I’d just like to say, she was an absolute doll! I explained on the phone that I would be on a time crunch, and Jane offered to pencil me in for an appt to ensure that I was in and out. I’ve never received such excellent customer service from a bank before. The process took longer than I expected, so I left for an appt and when I returned, she got on the phone immediately to continue resolving my issue. She was personable and spunky, definitely made the situation less tedious.”
“My experience has been really positive. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.
However, I recently came into the branch to do a wire. A new hire came to facilitate my wire. This person did not speak fluent English. I couldn't understand much of what she said. This is America and our language is English. When my grandparents arrived from Poland, they learned English. That was expected. We shouldn't have to struggle to decipher what is being said. Im staying with the bank because I like the people. If non English speaking customers can ask for a translator or a different employee...why cant we also.”

“I have had the pleasure of using Rockland Federal Credit Union as my primary bank my entire young life. I know how lucky this makes me, as I have heard many frustrations and complaints from friends about how their Big Banks make it difficult to go in and be treated like you matter.
Rockland Federal Credit Union has a clear homelike environment that Big Banks lack, while offering all the same services.
As I've grown up, I've been able to walk in to RFCU with any financial questions, and be seen promptly and greeted with kindness.
The tellers are all very pleasant, and the Member Services employees go above and beyond—particularly Meghan, who recently helped me navigate my first loan!

“I don't bank with Rockland Trust, but, each spring, they hold a weekly series of paper shredding events at rotating branches. While other area banks and credit unions hold similar events, they might be limited to their customers, or to residents of the towns in which the specific branch hosting the event is located. In Rockland Trust's case, their events are free to all. This branch in Kingston was one of the last in the bank to host a shredding event, which was useful to me as it came after my annual post-tax season file cleanout. The staff from both the bank branch and the third-party shredding company were super helpful, even offering to help customers unload boxes from their cars. The drop off process was super simple - just dump your papers into a standard blue recycling bin, which the shredding company then lifted and poured into the shredding machine. An easy way to clear out old statements, including from Fleet Bank (remember them?). Thanks for making this service free to all!”
