We told them we loved it, but we wanted a little less on the 14 month lease and Jay did the best he could for us and got us a month free and a little extra! Answered all our questions with enthusiasm and they really seemed to want us there and help us out where they could. I couldn’t recommend the service more. I move in this May and couldn’t be more excited. We worked mostly with Jay, but everyone was so helpful on the team!!!”

“Been living here for almost 2 years and love it. The staff is amazing and they have been extremely responsive when we needed help. Maintenance requests are usually done quickly, and management had our back when we ran into an issue with another resident. (Hasn’t happened since)They occasionally plan events for the residents and they’re usually fun! It really helps to meet your neighbors.Perfect spot if you’re a dog owner too. There’s a small dog park and dog wash room which we use a lot!Apartments are very nice and soundproof, you rarely hear your neighbors.All of the amenities are kept clean as well. I use the gym, yoga room, and pool quite a bit and it is always well maintained.Highly recommend!”

“I loved all 4 years I was at Metro Marina Bay. It was the most fun, most easy years I've had renting. Not only is the location just perfect, the building is professionally cleaned almost every day, the grounds are always perfectly manicured and maintenance will attend to any issue from a fire alarm battery replacement to a broken appliance within hours. The staff is amazing, I was so thankful for everything David and his team did. The maintenance staff are wonderful and friendly. There are more amenities to the gym, community room and outdoor space like specials/discounts at the Marina Bay restaurants, shuttle to the T, dry cleaning service, and more. Metro is the happiest place to live.”

“Best place in Boston to live. It’s near back bay and very close to newbury and prudential. It’s great for students and a very safe place for women. You get to meet a lot of great people who are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are furnished and you share a bathroom with 2-3 people and they are cleaned everyday by the management. There is a laundry room down and the kitchens are shared. It’s really a deal as rooms that size are around 1700+ in that area whereas rooms in the building are below 1000 and they include utilities and they are furnished. The heating system in winter is wonderful. Overall I would prefer to stay there again if possible.”

“Truly loved the comedy show they had on November 10th. The Batch Yard has great food vents for their residences that live here and that is great to have to help know your neighbors and socialize. The comedy shows should be one show a month they were really enjoyable. ?I’ve lived here for almost two years now and the apartment management and staff are so helpful and understanding. This is a great place to stay.”

“Mark and Montrez are two of my favorite receptionists at Ava because they are always smiling and wishing us the best! Mark even helped my mom today when she was locked out. Nicole also resolved a residence app request literally within 15 minutes of submitting it. Meg additionally honored our original price for the unit of when we were touring Ava. Genuinely, everyone who works here is super considerate of our safety and comfort and I love how the team dynamic is very cohesive! The workers are diligent, welcoming and humble with their intelligence. I couldn’t recommend this place more and wish I could give this review six stars instead of five!”

“What happens when you share a secret? It's no longer a secret.....though, West of Chestnut sits right on Hancock street, right on top of all these amazing bars and restaurants, so I guess we're okay. It's pretty much in your face. I've been living here for about nine months - here's the scoop: Staff: Annie and Devon! These girls make my day (whenever I get to escape my apt - oh, I work from home - more on the apt in a bit). They remember life moments (and that time you went on a shopping spree) and won't judge you for your weirdo husband (I mean, he's out there...) Security on the premise: Steve-O our security guy - I once saw him chase away a vagabond drunk. Oh wait, I think that was my husband... Building: Place is always clean and smells nice (except for the garbage chute, but, that's what it signed up for). There's a pretty large social room where you can host par-tays. Speaking of, every month Annie and Devon have a full event schedule planned out. Whether it's drinks, food, or fun games, there is always something planned....now, as a planner, I know that should not be taken lightly. If you're watching your waistline - eh, that's a problem. At the end of the day, West of Chestnut is getting people to know each other as neighbors! But I work from home and just watch everyone having fun from my window over my laptop #workfromhomeproblems Apartment: Did I mention I work from home? Well I do, so that means I never leave the place! But still, TONS of natural lighting and pretty quiet where our apartment sits. Even when they're partying downstairs, I can't tell I'm missing out! Okay, but seriously, open floor concept, modern and clean so whatever is your personal home décor style, it can work; never had a problem with the thermostat and if you ever do have something go wrong (light bulbs out, sink is clogged) - you have a maintenance team who jumps on it ASAP and gets it all taken care of. If you're looking for a roof over your head -there are many out there. If you're looking for one to call a home, have people you can call friends and literally be able to drag yourself from the bar and walk a few feet home - this is the right place to call "Home."”

Super dog-friendly, great gym, beautiful plants on the premises, and many spaces for remote workers. It is so calming to walk around outside; I do it almost every day. I had multiple and repetitive questions regarding the move, as it was a stressful interstate move, and they made it seamless. The concierge, the maintenance team, and everyone were very respectful and helpful from day 1, making me feel right at home. Special shout-out to Michael for going above and beyond in helping me move some really huge and heavy furniture on the day of my move-in and after. Every visit, I take note of its prestine cleanslines and the on site maintenance staff following up with even the most insignificant blemishes within their clients rooms as well as stairwells and common areas. The overall functioning of all the many separate buildings on this sprawling property must be difficult, however JCHE staff appear to do it daily with ease.
