“They took on a project that most shops wouldn't have touched with a ten-foot pole and it came out great! A mid-century modern table lamp for a nightstand fell off of the nightstand, and had broken into pieces. It was a wood veneer and it came apart along the sixty-year old glue joints where the glue had failed, and damaged the veneer in places. They were not only able to put it back together, but repair the veneer so it looks great! It took a while, but quality takes time! Highly recommended!”
“What a find! The Crafty Yankee is one of those great little shops where you want to take everything home. It's just full of perfectly picked items that make you think, 'Yep, that would look great in my house.' It's officially my new go-to for gifts, and the fact that they'll gift wrap for you is a huge plus. You’ll find a great mix of things—cool jewelry, amazing-smelling candles, stylish glassware, and cozy sweatshirts, just to name a few. They also have the best selection of Lexington 250th anniversary stuff I've seen around. I honestly can't believe it took me this long to discover this place!”
“We had our 15 year old Lutron shades replaced by Hunter Douglas motorized shades from Tyler and Sash several months ago. We worked primarily with Shaun, but we interacted with many of the staff and they were all extremely helpful. The installation went smoothly, with the minor glitch that one of the 6 motors was making a slight sound, which the installer immediately pointed out and replaced a couple weeks later. Since then we've had flawless operation using the scheduling feature on the app -- closed at sunset and opened at a specified time in the morning. We were a little apprehensive at first, as the price was half of what Lutron had quoted, but the quality of the H-D product is good and so far everything works as promised.”

“The only teak furniture store left in the North East of the US. They still import from Danmark. Family business, great quality and service. Superb. Worth visiting almost like a museum now.”
“Bellow there is a review about us not wanting to cut pieces of fabric and then having to call the police. I am the girl that was there. They wanted to have 5 different fabrics 20 yards each cut into 1 yard pieces. That would be 100 pieces to be cut. I also had a line of 5 people behind them. I ended up cutting some and then they kept asking after I said no. They started becoming irrate and yelling so I took the next customer. While I was cutting for that customer she comes behind the counter picks up the fabric she wanted and threw the fabric on the counter in front of me twice. A customer was the one to call 911. She starting yelling in my managers face. Causing another customer to start yelling at her saying thats no way to treat people. Then when the police showed up they then started screaming at the police which is why if they show up they are trespassing. Also I work with with Asian people and I get many customers who speak in broken English from many different cultures I do not care about that but I do care about being treated like a human.”

“I had a very good shopping experience at the store. I came from Lynn , MA almost an hour away from the store looking for new couches in a BD. I found what I was looking for. I was very pleased with the staff. The lady that was helping me was very friendly, but who made my experience better was zaid he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and he went out of his leave for me to get my couches on a day that was close so I pick them up because he knows I work the open. “Joe created stained glass windows for our recent renovation. As part of the renovation, smaller windows that had been casements became fixed windows. It wasn't functional and looked a little boring. Joe's stained glass windows finished the space. The final product looks like it was built in place. We could not be happier with how this project turned out.”

“Returning to Billerica brought them immense joy. There is nothing more pristine or light than this. Also, the pricing are just ridiculous; there's never a letdown! The locals are warm and humorous. You can find almost whatever you're searching for and more at this store. The best part is that many of the items are brand new and given by businesses that are taking advantage of the tax write-off and passing the savings on to us. They also have new cabinets if you need those. With each passing day, I discover something new, and that includes the kitchen sink. Along with that, I learned that 100% of the proceeds benefit the local community. You won't find a better secondhand store than this one.”
