“I have been at Union House for more than two and a half years. The staff here are fantastic. Justin, the community manager, is incredibly helpful, responsive, kind, and caring. Justin and Carolyn facilitated a move between apartments for me, and I love my new apartment, which is larger, even more than the old one. The apartments are beautiful and well maintained. Will, the head of maintenance is excellent, as well as being caring and kind. All requests are responded to quickly and completely. The building feels safe, the garage parking is a particular plus, especially during snowy winters. There is good sound insulation between apartments, making it very quiet. Utility costs are quite reasonable due to good exterior insulation. The location is convenient, especially if you plan to take the train, or want to walk to local restaurants.”

Edit 1/26/26: Hi everyone, i Duane Callender has been a tenant here for over eleven years and counting in this apartment. I've done my best to keep up with my place with the help of the management team and maintenance crew.I Recently spoke with Kaitlyn Doran the building manager and Kristina Kirby the Resident Service Manager, about my unit concerns. I asked if they could help me with getting my bedroom floor rug clean. Kaitlyn suggested replacing it with a vinyl flooring which has been done. The room has been painted too.

Thanks to the maintenance crew, who found the window (s) needs to be replaced and the window is secure for now until the window(s) can be replaced. My washer machine went dead and Kaitlyn had that replaced as well! And finally the kitchen sink was leaking and that is fixed Amen!!!

I would like to thank Kaitlyn Doran, Kristina Kirby, and the maintenance crew Gerorge, Patrick, James for their time and patients dealing with my ongoing unit concerns. Again thank you all for your time and concern in the above mentioned matter.”

“We have been homeowners for almost 30 years now and when we moved to Waltham for a job opportunity, we decided to try living right downtown within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, walking trails, and public transit. The Merc at Moody and Main more than fit the bill. The leasing and move in process was easily a 5 star rating because of the stellar staff that worked as a team to address any questions that we had about our unit. I reserved my review until we had been here a while and I could give an overall review of the entire property-still an easy 5! I can not say enough about everyone from the maintenance guys, the grounds crew, the housekeeping staff that greets my dog and I each morning when we go out for a walk, and the friendly residents. So many positives happening in this community. Jeff and staff keep the place decorated and warm for every holiday season and I'm not sure they even know how much those efforts make The Merc feel like home. They also work tirelessly to plan activities for us all to enjoy and get to know each other and their doors are always open when we need them. I really wasn't expecting to be in a place where I no longer miss having our own property. We love living here and being a part of this amazing community.”

The apartments are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the campus itself is full of amenities that make everyday life enjoyable. I especially love the pool table and the large community room, which are perfect for socializing and spending time with neighbors. “I lived in the Hamilton Place in Watertown for a year. The building is old and run-down, but they were renovating it as I was moving out. Bob from maintenance is awesome, and the other maintenance guys get the job done fast too. It’s a very spacious apartment. The only con is the laundry room, which can get busy when you have 4 washers and dryers for a huge building , which some don’t work at times. They need to renovate that next, and then the building is not bad at all, and Watertown is an awesome place to live!”
