“I got a good used vehicle and price from Jaime, Ed, & Co. They presented a complete carfax, allowed me to bring the car to my mechanic with a list of all the items they noticed, and then fixed up all the issues that got the car in tip-top shape. Even when some brake noise began, they honored their warranty and fixed the problem while I was on vacation. I got to come home to a smooth, quiet ride- a very nice feeling, indeed. They help you with everything from registration & titling to getting your inspection sticker. Very friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks, all. It was much appreciated.”

“Olsi Auto made a good story out of what could have been a nightmare. I drove to Worcester from NY to pick up my daughter, and as soon as I pulled off the highway, my car started smoking and screeching and it stalled. My daughter called Olsi and within minutes they called me. They arranged for a tow truck, and sent someone down to make sure I was ok and not too stressed. When the tow truck couldn't give me a lift to the mechanic, they did. And then they repaired my clutch. They did a good job with the clutch, but the service they provided went above and beyond. Thank you, Olsi Auto, for making a bad situation bearable!!”

“Excellent service. I came here a few months ago after getting into a car accident and they did an amazing job fixing my car. Yesterday, when I got a flat tire, I called Canterbury Automotive Inc. and Jimmy helped me immensely. I was able to drive over as they were closing and he put my spare tire on for me and was super kind and professional. He also connected me with a great tire store and provided expertise on how to best move forward. I really appreciate Canterbury Automotive and Jimmy for their work and dedication to their customers and I highly recommend coming here if you are experiencing car troubles.”

“After having a horrible experience with the Webster location, I came to this Lincoln st location .looking for Kelvin he was highly recommend by a very good friend . Unfortunately Kelvin was off today but i was Fortunate enough to have my own great customer service experience with a different Coworker name Marisela. After explaining to her my situation and what I have been dealing with In the Webster location for the past 4 days with a big beautiful smile on her face and a sincere apology, she proceeded fixing the issue. there is nothing in this world that I appreciate more then a sincere apology coming from a person that has done nothing wrong but understood that, so out of respect for me , her place of work and on behalf of her coworker she was able to do that and more. With a very short time notice she was able to help me with my issue my selection and delivery she was truly awesome. How funny one person can make the difference . This is a person that truly enjoys her career and sometimes people take that for granted specially costumers and don’t give them enough credit . “During the most chaotic time of the year, my Hyundai’s engine blew on November 18th. My dad and I had to figure out a way for me to get around until my car is fixed. We live a few miles from the Worcester Regional Airport so we decided to go there to see what our car rental options were. Jason Holihan was exceptionally amazing. He was quick, answered all of our questions, gave us the best rate he could find, followed up with us, and overall super kind person. He is one of the general managers and I can see why! If I could afford to give him a bonus, I would do so in a heartbeat. Usually these situations can become stressful but this couldn’t have been a smoother process. He was on top of it and I would recommend Worcester Regional Airport Avis Budget and Jason Holihan to anyone I know in need of renting a car within the Worcester County. We could not be happier with our services especially during this insanely busy time. There is nothing more important than needing a vehicle to complete all our Christmas shopping. “Made a last minute reservation a for a car bc my power steering quit. I got there after hours and desk was closed. With the help of a kind airport employee (who had no doubt been busting her butt all day in the snow storm)was able to get in touch with an employee through the hotline. I am grateful and impressed that despite falling snow and icy roads, he was willing to come back!!! “I first signed up for a Zipcar membership in Madison, WI, and generally had very positive experiences there. When I moved to Boston and had a look at all these reviews I was kind of dreading the occasions when I would really *need* to rent one. I just figured, well, in a major city things are bound to be more chaotic. But I've rented 3x now with them and I was very happy with all of my experiences. I did have to contact customer service for each rental to deal with some issues (e.g., locked gate for returning the car, previous renter very late), but I got through very quickly to someone, and each of the people I spoke with was super helpful and very friendly. *However*. . . it's important to go into this with sensible expectations and to be prepared to change things up if needed. For my most recent rental, the person who had the car before me was stuck in traffic and eventually we had to switch to another car--not the company's fault, that just happens. For my trouble, I was offered a significant discount, which I appreciated, mostly because it allowed me to take care of a lot more errands by having the car for longer. In terms of renting strategically, you can do the following: (1) try to rent a vehicle that's in a less busy neighborhood, less usage on the car; (2) check out the vehicle in person beforehand to see if it's pretty beat up and more likely to present problems--also to figure out where the car is parked, which is not always easy to figure out; (3) try to choose a vehicle that does not have a lot of rental time before or after to avoid being delayed and to allow you to extend time if needed. To be honest, if I had someplace important to be (wedding, business meeting), I would either not rent a Zipcar, or have a back-up plan. Customer service: it's quite possible you may end up speaking with someone who is not in the U.S., not shocking that they're outsourcing. But the people I spoke with had perfectly good English, and I found them very pleasant. You would think from reading this whole string of reviews that literally everyone who rents a Zipcar has some kind of nightmarish experience. I'm going to guess that anyone who has a terrible experience is much more likely to post here?”
