“Just moved to the area with my girlfriend and decided to pop into Pemberton Farms for a bite. As we were browsing the sandwich menu, the owner Greg promised he could make us two great sandwiches, and we were not disappointed. The corned beef on my reuben was juicy and flavorful and the bread was toasted just right. My girlfriend really enjoyed her pesto chicken sandwich. We will be returning again soon.”

“This Trader Joe's outlet is similar to many others: a modest produce section off to one side; refrigerated cases with prepared sandwiches, dairy items, and packaged meats and seafood; a row of baked goods; rows of frozen goods in the middle; and packaged goods in the remainder of the venue. My key takeaway from a recent visit: this outlet is crazy busy, starting with a tight, jampacked parking lot that's shared with numerous businesses at this strip mall. There's a constant onslaught of folks inside, but fortunately the staff are also constantly restocking items on the shelves. On that note: the staff were super helpful in providing guidance on when the ever-elusive kimbap would be available. Even though I couldn't find it here at the time I visited, their info was useful in tracking down kimbap at other area stores. Thanks for your help!”

“I went on a trip to Cyprus last year and stayed on the Greek side of the island where I fell in love with the food. When I got back to Boston I HAD TO find somewhere that sells Greek products. This market has been on my to-go list for this past year and I finally made it here this past weekend. It's small store yet has so many variety of items you'll probably spend most of your time debating with yourself which to get over the other. Wide selection of honey, olive oils, cheeses, olives, breads etc. We bought the 2% greek yogurt which we were told is a customer favorite. And my God I've never tasted a yogurt like this before. I didn't even bother to sample the others. It was $4.59/lb and we got the 32oz container. And we also got a small pack of their granola which is so good I regret not getting the larger bag. We bought some fresh Feta which'll last up to 6months in the fridge and halloumi from the fridge section. Also got garlic hummus I had last night with some pita bread we bought from the store and it was good. We also tried some of their pastries which were delectable. I asked the lady by the cash register if the Indiana is the same thing as kok which I made sure to pronounce correctly and she took her by surprise and asked if I was Greek too and I said sadly no. Haha Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. I will be back!”

“I was checking out with a couple buddies of mine and we happened to be in the checkout lane of a young man named Avery Orlando. Avery was such a nice kid and was swift with our checkout process. He greeted us with a charming smile and asked about how we were doing. It almost felt like I was having a conversation with a long time friend. I think that Avery deserves a big time raise for the environment that he had provided us. We have the young man a gracious tip along with an Arizona for the young and hardworking man. “Delicious fresh made breakfast and FRESH squeezed orange juice. Super nice staff. We got breakfast sandwiches, cheesy bread and a breakfast burrito. Lots of fresh pastries. “I agree with a previous reviewer that this place is dated with charm. The proprietor is a lovely man who makes your sandwich with glee and a song. While the store's atmosphere is aging and in need of a little pick me up , it's nice that they make fresh pasta and have a selection of other Italian corner store goods for purchase. I got a deli meats sandwich (not an Italian). The meat was cut in front of me on a slicer and fresh , but I found the sandwich a bit salty, even for deli meat (maybe the bread or the meat ?) . Great service and a nice local business , even if the food I sampled wasn't at the top. I'd bet the pasta and the eggplant parm are great here. Maybe next time”

“I went Sunday and ordered the lunch. The food is delicious, high quality and tender meat. Incredibly flavorful. I also asked about Halva to which the gentleman suggested the one they make in house. To say that it is delicious is an understatement! My son and I finished a third of the container in the car before we left. “I have passed Donelan's for years and have never been in, but I was heading home around 2:30 after doing errands and I was really hungry. While I really wanted - and needed - something that was "real lunch food" (i.e. something filling, like a sandwich) I wandered around and didn't feel like fruit. I saw a couple of pre-made sandwiches in the deli area, but nothing appealed to me and I was drawn back to the bakery area. You know those nice and big slices of cake that grocery stores have that sometimes have a lot of frosting? They have them, and it had A LOT of frosting and that's when I knew a day of healthy eating would be pushed to another day. Found a nice big slice of white cake and that frosting looked soooo good. I looked around for a fork because I wanted to dive into it in the parking lot, but that needed to wait until I got home. One minute through the self-checkout lane and I was off, and hurried home to get my sugar rush. It was delicious, and there was so much frosting that I didn't eat all of it (probably a first for me). After wandering the aisles, the prices seemed the same to me as those that I normally pay in Newton at Star Market, so I may need to pick up some actual food the next time I am driving by! Store was VERY clean, definitely a bonus!”
