“I came to Stephen Allen to get some jewelry assessed and do a trade in. The jeweler was very ethical and told me the items he thought were too nice to trade in. I got a fair value for the remainder of my items and was able to trade them in for something nice. He also cleaned all my jewelry and fixed a bracket I didn’t realize was broken for a reasonable price. I will be coming here going forward for my jewelry needs!”

The whole process was explained to me as it was my first time there. I was surprised at the patience he had as he disentangle the mess of chains I brought in. I did browse through the jewelry for sale, their prices are fair and they have a nice selection, plus they do repairs and watch batteries. I was also surprised at the amount of money I received for the few items I brought in! I would definitely go back there whether I had something to sell or I needed a gift or wanted to buy some jewelry for myself or had repairs. I'm so glad I made the trip there!”

“A few months ago I needed a ring resized and I happened to be in the Ludlow area, so I decided to stop in at this jewelry store. The ring I owned was made of Portuguese gold, so my thought was why not take it to a Portuguese jeweler. When I walked in the staff was warm and welcoming which was a plus. They looked at my ring, gave me a very reasonable price, and gave me a decent time line for my resizing. When I got the ring back it was perfect and they stuck to the quoted price. The store also had a ton of beautiful items which was nice but some of the prices were a bit high. That being said, since it is a small family owned business and not a chain jewelry store, I expected the slightly higher pricing. In the end, this was a great store and I would take any of my jewelry here to get repaired.”
