“Lost my car (2011 Equinox) in an accident, Called Enterprise on 11/27 around noontime.Ordered a compact rental for 1 week, Enterprise picked me up at12:30 pm. They didn't have any compact cars, so I was given a free upgrade to a new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe ! Beautiful car, clean with a full tank of gas. Used the rental for Used Car shopping... Returned the Rental ~ 12 noon on Friday 12/1.Only was charged for 4 days, so the $$ was credited back to me.Very friendly staff, helpful and a GREAT RENTAL experience !”

“Five HUGE stars for Enterprise in Lexington! I may preface this by saying that I was definitely born in the wrong century in that I despise BEING FORCED to use computers/apps for every transaction nowadays. It is a true godsend to do anything these days without it turning into a major stress event involving ill-programmed websites/computers/passwords, absence of human communication/interaction, customer set-ups designed solely for the business-owner advantage, automated telephonic nonsense, computer-cryptic hidden fees, etc. Here's the story: My car croaked and I needed to rent a car. In fear of what I have described above, I boldly decided to risk it and simply just walk down to Enterprise at opening time to see about renting a car. I was stressed already and anticipating "the usual" like being told "you have to book this on-line" and/or "you need a user ID to access a new account" and similar such nonsense. Instead, I was welcomed by a very pleasant lady (Abigail) who was well spoken. She clearly stated the rental information and answered any questions I had. She booked a car to fit my needs and the price was clear and all info was up front. Before I knew it, I was led over to my car, and I was driving off on my merry way all within 10 minutes or less of my arrival. I literally left with a smile and low-than-ever cortisol levels. At the end of the week, I called Enterprise and spoke to Richard on the phone, and I informed him that I needed a week-long rental extension and he set it up via phone in seconds. He was very helpful and pleasant and a good communicator. It later turned out that my own car was now repaired, and I didn't need the rental extension after all. I called Enterprise and Richard answered. I informed him of my situation and said to "just return the car when you like and everything will be all set." The return process was a snap. Everything was lickety-split and totally "user friendly" and all info was clearly and concisely presented. Best of all, everything was accomplished without my ever having to touch a computer -not even once. No run-around, no confusion, no hidden fees, real people, etc. Old school and I'm lovin' it! Thank you, Enterprise!”

“Before I came to Jax I had a horrible experience with Toyota in Woburn. I read the reviews for Jax and they were all positive so I decided to go and give this dealership a chance. Best decision I've ever made.. not only did I find a car I loved but Jason made the entire process easier then I could have imagined. All of this happened at the beginning of the covid-19 crisis and I didn't think i would be able to get the car until after due to most RMV's being closed. “Upon entering, I was greeted by Shevonne, she was so awesome!!!unfortunately just my luck there were no gas cars. Except a chevy bolt electric car. Shevonne told me I was going to like this car. I being driving this car for a week and I really enjoy my rental car is sooo fast. I love it!!All men enjoy a really fast car.Great recommendation.Shevonne is who helped me and she was so hospitable and thorough. In Massachusetts sometimes good customer service is hard to find. But at the Hertz at 831 Rogers St in lowell Shevone will go the extra mile with a smile. Thanks for the great work Shevonne!!!!”

“I feel like I need to write a comment to try and balance out all the negative ones. I was hesitant to rent from Medford due to the negative reviews but decided to take a punt as they had the very best deal in Boston for a Tesla Model 3. The pick up was a bit slow due to lack of staff, but that seems to be a problem in many service industries. The charge was only at 20%, but they just said bring it back low and there will not be a problem, which it wasn’t. I rented for 25 days initially and had to extend it twice over the phone, because it could not be done on-line. No trouble getting onto the office, and they were helpful each time. They warned me about the toll charges, and I thought I had it correct to only be charged three days of admin charges, however it got it wrong and was charged the flat daily rental for the whole rental period. One call to the Plate Pass customer services Center fixed that, and I got a refund that accurately reflected my intended only three days’ usage. So overall it was a very positive experience. As a Tesla 3 owner back in Australia, I will definitely be looking to go with Hertz Medford again when I am next in Boston.”
