“Excellent experience!! I placed a pick up order for a hoodie and a reusable bag as a birthday gift. When I came to pick it up, they put the hoodie in the bag AND put gift tissue in the bag!! I loved it so much, it saved me from needing to run into Marshall’s to get gift tissue to do exactly this!! I was SO short on time, I couldn’t even go to the store for milk so my friend gave me milk in a mason jar and I taped ice packs around it assuming I’d be in Marshall’s getting tissue paper and we all know how long the line in there gets. Thank you to rally house for doing that so I never needed to go anywhere else, all in one stop and my milk survived!!! Thank you omg!!”

“Everyone was very helpful here. I made an online order for two T-shirts online. It told me that only one would be available in the store when I got there. When I got there, they had the other t-shirt, but they only gave me one, and told me that I still had the wait on the other one. It was about a week before it came. Very disappointing. On a regular they're very expensive but the sales are nice though when you can catch it”

“Employees are very kind. I forgot a bag in there, called it red, look around for a few minutes, and gave up. as I was leaving, an employee found my bag and returned it to me. the bag was gray, not red :0
I am very thankful. It was only a mug, but the employees really went above and beyond that day.”
“Yesterday 11/4/24 I was in trying to find new dress pants for a job I am starting today. Will, your employee is absolutely amazing, not only did he reassure me that we would find something and to not stress, he did it in such a kind way. He asked if I needed help any time we met eye contact and the whole time while helping me he was organizing, folding, and fixing up the store. He is simply amazing and I’m truly appreciative of his service. We actually were able to find TWO pairs of pants. Thanks will!

“Ann Arbor's hidden gem. Hands down, my go-to spot for shopping in town. They have the cutest brands (Still Here, GUIZIO, Aviator Nation, Rag & Bone, Elwood, Bella Venice, Frankies Bikinis, etc) & a great selection of elevated denim you can’t find anywhere else nearby. I also love their charm bar/embroidery pop-ups. Definitely one of the best parts of going to school at UofM.”

“Spencer’s is one of those stores that is simply fun to walk into. Located inside the mall, it has an energetic atmosphere filled with quirky gifts, novelty items, funky T-shirts, and things you didn’t even realize you wanted until you saw them.
I enjoy stopping in because there is always something new to look at, and the store regularly seems to have good promotions and deals whenever I visit. The staff have always been friendly and approachable, which makes browsing feel relaxed and enjoyable.
It’s a great place to find fun gift ideas, humorous items, and affordable graphic T-shirts without spending too much. Spencer’s brings a playful, nostalgic mall experience that is becoming harder to find.”

Most of all, she kept her good humor and friendliness even though the situation was a headache. She could have announced "It just isn't doable" at any time and I wouldn't have known the difference. In all departments, the selection is excellent, and the store is pleasant and kept in good order. I really hope these "department stores" survive.
