“Since 1965, the Ark has been an institution in Ann Arbor. We have seen countless concerts here, as well as open mics and more. Five stars isn’t enough, thinking about the volunteers and logistics these days. Driving 100+ miles is not an issue, well worth it. No ticket master, no skimming greed here. Just great wholesome music in an intimate setting!”

“It's hard to start this review because there are SO many excellent things to say about this Venue and the events manager who acts as your day-of-coordinator, Lindy. So to try to keep it simple, I'll make a list!

1. 10/10 Venue Logistics. The property and history of the home is amazing, its beautiful on its own in terms of design, architecture, and existing decor. You get the whole property to yourself for event day. Plenty of space in the getting ready areas for both parties, plus separate space for eating and keeping belongings. Wonderful that food and bar are apart of the package and take extra work off your plate not needing to find caterers. Plus, the chef is fantastic all the food was amazingly flavorful and cooked beautifully.

2. 10/10 Luxury experience. They can do. it. all. Want breakfast for the bridal party? Lunch? Mimosas? Beer? Need a mid getting ready diet coke? Scout first look locations on the property night of rehearsal? Make way too many changes to your guest count as the day approaches? Coordinate all of your vendors so they know when to arrive and what to do? Lindy and team WILL make it happen. They are organized and they get it done and do it right! We felt like we were in just the best hands.

3. Professional, friendly, kind, 100/10 service!! Every single person from us the couple, to the bridal party, and the guests were all so well taken care of. Chef made us fabulous meals people actually wanted to eat. Delicious desserts. French fries late night snack was a hit! Lindy had recommended vendor list which made bookings much easier as there are many people in this industry to choose from.

4. Lindy is a STAR. I can't picture the day without her. She made everything feel completely solid and put together. No scrambling. She genuinely wanted us as the couple to be happy and enjoy our day, and we truly truly did. Our wedding was beautiful, magical, loving, delicious, and everything I ever wanted and more. Many thanks to the City Club, Lindy, Chef Alex and team, set up crew, the bartenders, and the servers (Anita- you're the best!) for making our day complete MAGIC.”

“Great location, nice and clean rooms. Parking is a walk . Staff were kind and delivered great customer service. The salt water pool is wonderful. Rooms are pricey. However , I still highly recommend.”

“Lovely as always. It was my grandmas birthday and this is the restaurant she chose for the special occasion. We had a little mishap with the initial order that arrived to the table but Lilly our server and the manager resolved quickly. Prime Rib is always a hit and the best part of the meal were the appetizer crab cake & the banana bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream. Excellent wine list! They don't seem to do anything for birthdays but regardless we enjoyed dinner and service.”

“First time. Every seat is an awesome seat! I was so very lucky to see Rent for the first time (not even the movie) ever tonight! . Angel.... you stole my heart from the first note you sang!!!!!❤️❤️ The cast was unbelievable in my noobie opinion. These talented performers gave a Broadway worthy show. The chemistry was never forced, the music was fantastic, the staging was beautiful and atmosphere positive. You all rocked it tonight!”

“Enjoyed the lower level/basement. Nice place to enjoy lunch break with different restaurant food options. Also experienced delightful employment at Barne and noble bookstore. I will always remember the basement.”

“Polo Fields is beyond excellent! My husband and I had our wedding reception at Polo Fields this past May, and I blown away by the professionalism and care Polo Fields provided! They made our special day beautiful and brought my vision to life? the food was excellent, and the staff was amazing especially the manager Brian! Brian was with us throughout our whole wedding reception planning process, he was nothing but professional. He always returned my calls and met with us in person several times to go over small details! If you are getting married in the near future I would highly recommend Polo Fields you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Polo Fields golf and country club for making my wedding dreams come true!!

“The space has a nice decor but is a bit smaller than I thought it would be from the outside. The event we attended was served from a buffet and had some of the best buffet food we have had. If the short ribs were served at their Roadhouse we would order them frequently.”

“I loved working maintenance at this place. Medical health issues prevented me from returning to work there the next spring. I received the surgeries I needed. I am healing great now. I enjoyed the work, I enjoyed the people, I enjoyed the association members, some of the younger coworkers like to harass me a little, I needed that type of challenging motivation and competition. The property is beautiful.”

“Could not have had a better experience getting married at Cobblestone Farm and working with the amazing staff there. They are a dream to work with and made our night absolute magic. We can't thank them enough!”

“I had a great stay at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel. The property was well kept and comfortable. The bar staff did a solid job with our party of 15-20 people.

By far the highlight of my stay, though, was D’uante at the front desk. He went above and beyond to take care of us from start to finish and made the entire experience seamless. His professionalism and genuine willingness to help truly stood out and as a result I would absolutely choose to stay here again.”

“I stayed one night at the hotel (Oct 27-Oct 28). The service overall is good. Good room size, large desk, nice kitchen. Staff were nice. However, I have to take one star off due to my disappointed experience when I checked out. There were 02 ladies at the desk on the day I checked out and the one I talked to seem to be a staff ( the other one is a manager or shift leader). When I asked if they had some extra ice I could have because the ice maker in my room the night before could only make one little tray. The lady immediately said absolutely she had ice to give me some. However, after she finished talking to a guest before me, she checked on me and when she saw I was checking out, she changed her mind and said no she didn't have any ice. Notice that she was still at her counter desk the whole time and she didn't even go check wherever the office stored ice. This was disappointed how this employee treated leaving guest. Some ice cubes don't cost much, I stopped by to ask because in the check-in sheet mentioned the front desk has extra ice if the ice maker in the room doesn't make enough. Not worth losing point to save for the hotel.”
