“Wellers was a perfect venue for our wedding! We got married at the Carriage house and the ceremony and reception were both beautiful! From the very beginning of the process, Wellers was extremely up front about packages and costs and there were no hidden fees or surprises. Additionally, the ability to look around the venue at the open house on Saturdays made planning so much easier. Being able to see the property more than once to get a better understanding of spacing and everything was a stress reliever. The getting ready house we used day of was incredibly spacious and fun to get ready in. The staff during the reception portion WERE INCREDIBLE! They truly made the experience so enjoyable and relaxed. The bartenders and bar set up was also so amazing! I was hesitant initially because there was no food tasting, but everything tasted so amazing. From the passed appetizers to the main course it was truly phenomenal! Also, we didn’t purchase a dance floor to go on the gazebo and it worked perfectly without one. If you are looking to book a wedding GO WITH WELLERS! I wouldn’t change a thing if I could go back, it is a beautiful location!”

“I moved to Saline a couple years ago, to support my father (who had cancer and passed), and my mother. I was so fortunate to find an active Legion in the area. All the Legion's Leadership is open, transparent, listens to those who are in attendance, even conducting their meetings for members to watch. Besides unselfish leadership (what this country needs to get back to at the U.S. Congress), all the members and staff are welcoming people. After a couple visits, everyone knows each other's names, except me (as I'm forgetful); but the Saline Legion is just like the Military was when I served, ('84-'93). A greater bunch of citizens could not exist anywhere else in Washtenaw County, first hand testimonial. God Bless America. “We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Stone Chalet on April 26, 2026, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was the most perfect day. Everything about our day was customizable to our vision, and our wedding turned out better than we ever could have imagined! I am so appreciative about the level of choice we had in what was included and how our choices were honored on the day. We received compliments for months about how perfect everything was. The location - both outside at the frog pond for the ceremony and inside for a ballroom reception - was beyond gorgeous, and our guests were in love with the whimsical atmosphere. The gardens were blooming beautifully in late April thanks to the team's persistent dedication. It was just the right amount of space for 83 guests to roam, chat, eat, and dance. Thank you Daisy for pulling everything together and for perfecting all the big and small details; Britt for making everyone feel so comfortable and beautiful when capturing priceless moments; and to all the staff who helped make our day stress-free. We spent our wedding night in the Hobbit room which was lovely and romantic, and the breakfast the next morning was amazing!”

“Since 1965, the Ark has been an institution in Ann Arbor. We have seen countless concerts here, as well as open mics and more. Five stars isn’t enough, thinking about the volunteers and logistics these days. Driving 100+ miles is not an issue, well worth it. No ticket master, no skimming greed here. Just great wholesome music in an intimate setting!”

“This theatre is just big enough that you are able to see the faces of the actors. The play was one of the best I have seen. The actors all did one amazing job creating their characters.”

“It's hard to start this review because there are SO many excellent things to say about this Venue and the events manager who acts as your day-of-coordinator, Lindy. So to try to keep it simple, I'll make a list!

1. 10/10 Venue Logistics. The property and history of the home is amazing, its beautiful on its own in terms of design, architecture, and existing decor. You get the whole property to yourself for event day. Plenty of space in the getting ready areas for both parties, plus separate space for eating and keeping belongings. Wonderful that food and bar are apart of the package and take extra work off your plate not needing to find caterers. Plus, the chef is fantastic all the food was amazingly flavorful and cooked beautifully.

2. 10/10 Luxury experience. They can do. it. all. Want breakfast for the bridal party? Lunch? Mimosas? Beer? Need a mid getting ready diet coke? Scout first look locations on the property night of rehearsal? Make way too many changes to your guest count as the day approaches? Coordinate all of your vendors so they know when to arrive and what to do? Lindy and team WILL make it happen. They are organized and they get it done and do it right! We felt like we were in just the best hands.

3. Professional, friendly, kind, 100/10 service!! Every single person from us the couple, to the bridal party, and the guests were all so well taken care of. Chef made us fabulous meals people actually wanted to eat. Delicious desserts. French fries late night snack was a hit! Lindy had recommended vendor list which made bookings much easier as there are many people in this industry to choose from.

4. Lindy is a STAR. I can't picture the day without her. She made everything feel completely solid and put together. No scrambling. She genuinely wanted us as the couple to be happy and enjoy our day, and we truly truly did. Our wedding was beautiful, magical, loving, delicious, and everything I ever wanted and more. Many thanks to the City Club, Lindy, Chef Alex and team, set up crew, the bartenders, and the servers (Anita- you're the best!) for making our day complete MAGIC.”

“The space has a nice decor but is a bit smaller than I thought it would be from the outside. The event we attended was served from a buffet and had some of the best buffet food we have had. If the short ribs were served at their Roadhouse we would order them frequently.”

“Polo Fields is beyond excellent! My husband and I had our wedding reception at Polo Fields this past May, and I blown away by the professionalism and care Polo Fields provided! They made our special day beautiful and brought my vision to life? the food was excellent, and the staff was amazing especially the manager Brian! Brian was with us throughout our whole wedding reception planning process, he was nothing but professional. He always returned my calls and met with us in person several times to go over small details! If you are getting married in the near future I would highly recommend Polo Fields you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Polo Fields golf and country club for making my wedding dreams come true!!

“A restaurant that doesn't change....and that's a good thing! Wedge of lettuce , offered in two sizes. Excellent prime rib. Delicious Chilean sea bass. Very respectable creme brulee. Haven't been here in over 15 years (moved to Boston), and the ambiance and food quality are the same as I remembered.”

“Friendly and professional staff, well-decorated interior, clean rooms, gym with everything I needed, and plenty activities in the pool area that were all well-maintained. The stay was excellent and was relatively cheap during off season.

The only tiny downside is that it is difficult to walk out of the hotel grounds for other food options, though the hotel's restaurant had good offerings.”

“Great experience, clean bathrooms, comfy recliner chairs, adequate space in rows in case you need to get up to use the restroom. Convenient ordering tickets and food online. Theater sound wasn't too loud.”

“I had a great stay at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel. The property was well kept and comfortable. The bar staff did a solid job with our party of 15-20 people.

By far the highlight of my stay, though, was D’uante at the front desk. He went above and beyond to take care of us from start to finish and made the entire experience seamless. His professionalism and genuine willingness to help truly stood out and as a result I would absolutely choose to stay here again.”

“Overall though the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were doing construction downstairs so might be noisy if you were staying nearby. Location was superb if you are staying near the big house

Only weird thing was there was urine in one of the hallways when walking through the lobby at night. More-so on the people that could be staying here; the experience was overall good and for the price”
