“Sandwiches, pizza, calzones and wine! Extremely cute local business with an awesome owner. They even went out of their way to let me know they didn’t have something. 5 out of 5, will continue to come back!”

“A nice upscale grocery store, their prepared food is worth getting. There coffee is as fresh as you can get, they roast it IN the store at a very reasonable price.”

“The staff here is really nice and plesant, and it seems consistent with every location that I've been to. Food selection is great, and yes they run out of items from time to time. They have a unique supply chain system I've read. Anyways , I'll probably be going today. A set of unique artsy people tend to be attracted to Trader Joe's. I no longer go to kroger.. unless I'm looking in clearance / last chance or for small items, no more full grocery runs though.”

“The store was full of products that cannot easily be found elsewhere. A bit pricey, but worth it. I'm more than willing to trade out some of the stores I currently frequent, for more great experiences at Trader Joe's.”

“I can’t remember the last time I walked into a business and felt so welcomed almost feeling like part of the Salvaggio family.

This wasn’t on one single occasion. Over the past week I had to visit local in Troy,MI (of my own doing).

I was working on a surprise party for my friend. Each time I was greeted shown around and given something added tips and tricks I hadn’t even thought about, making this event a tremendous success for all of us.

Thank you all for your help, support, and personal care you provided me over the past week. I can’t thank you enough.”

“I love this place, but it is unfortunately very inaccessible for dining in. The parking lot is very rough for navigating with my walker. The "accessible" entry for the dining room is outside, meaning that I'd have to go inside, order and pay, then go back outside, and use the ramp to enter the dining room. If whole eating I needed to use the restroom, I'd have to go back outside, down the ramp, in the door, and into the store to use it, since their bathrooms are needlessly gendered, despite being solo occupancy. Also, the ramp was blocked at the bottom when we visited. Fortunately my husband was there to move the large heavy tangled up hose at the bottom of the ramp, otherwise I would not have been able to use the ramp.
Also, there is no accessible door button at the dining room door at the top of the ramp. The ramp is rough wooden decking.

Other than that, I love their food, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is wonderful.

Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp to access the dining room is outside, and so you'd have to go in the door to the store, order and pay, then go back outside, hope the ramp isn't blocked, and go up the ramp into the dining room. But, there is no accessible door opening button.”

“Are you kidding me with this place? Saw it while I was driving home from a Detroit Tiger’s game and laughed at the name. Googled it and saw what it was!!! A few weeks later I finally made the trip out and spent close to $200 and everything was amazing. If it wasn’t so far I would have gone back the next day. The staff is nice, the selection is amazing, and the quality of the prepared in house dishes was excellent. I will recommend to everyone in search of delicious Korean and other Asian goods.”

“I read about Detroit People’s Food Co-op and once I heard they were an African American led community owned grocery outlet I knew I had to pay a visit and support this business. The store very modern and beautiful, there were the most beautiful murals on the walls, and the staff/customers seemed very pleasant. All of the produce looked fresh, There were a variety of dairy products as well as dairy alternatives I’ve never heard of. I got some kefir drink, mushrooms, broccoli, and cream cheese. I plan on using these ingredients for some dishes that I like to make for the unhoused and poor. Thank you guys for your service and I pray you receive Allah SWT’s blessings in abundance.”

“I ignored it for about 2 years. Now, it's one of my favorite, go to grocery stores.

Update: now I hate the place. I'm addicted. I'm driving from Commerce Township and hooked on the fresh pastas, the meats, the fresh fish, the desserts, things I can't get at other markets and the pizza!”

“Nearly every week I make sure to stop in to this Aldi to pick up grocery staples. Prior to the pandemic, they really did have low prices on quality items, but alas, inflation has also ruined this good thing.”

“Wonderful place. Both times I went I had special requests and they accommodated and were kind and happy about it. Best meat around with seriously skilled butchers!!”

“My father has been a long-time customer, and one of the managers, Giovanni, has converted me too. I went in looking for a gift for a friend, and Giovanni pin-pointed great selections for me based on the criterion I gave him. The owners have developed quite the network with distillers and other artisans to not only provide intimate knowledge on the products they sell, but to offer more exclusive and interesting products as well. They didn’t try to push the most expensive or flashiest bottle onto me, but directed me towards scotches and bourbons that were both within my budget as well as extraordinarily enjoyable. I will be returning soon.”

“The owners are nice. The store is well stocked. I went specifically for Japanese items in a Korean market and found 4 of the 5 items I wanted. I will become a regular.”

“The owners are very polite and welcoming. Even if you purchase food from the fridge, they will heat it up for you and provide rice and side dishes so you can sit down and enjoy your meal. It’s a very charming and cozy shop that reminds me of Kim’s Convenience.”

“Mamma makes these deeeeeelicious cookies from scratch. Mmmmmmmm. They are located at the register and you must try the peanut butter They will melt in your mouth.”

“Great store, they have just about anything you could ever want in a grocery store but a lot smaller than those massive mega-marts. Some hard to find specialty products makes it worth the higher prices you'll pay to shop here.”

“Needed a few items in bulk, so I stopped here. I was able to find my items quickly, as the store layout was organized. Cashiers were courteous and efficient. The associate scanned my items promptly, then I was on my way.”

“A small family owned market. The lady at the register is always so welcoming and nice. The price on some items are over price but because this is a mom and pop shop the community is willing to spend here. I would recommend getting the blue crab and vegetable. The only place in Detroit where I get peeking duck because they always make it fresh in the morning and great portion.”

“Sure! Here’

As a regular shopper at Market Fresh, I always appreciate the consistent quality and variety they offer. The rewards points system is a fantastic perk that makes my visits even more rewarding. I love how easy it is to find everything I need, whether it's from their full fresh deli, hot food selection, or the delicious bakery items.

I especially enjoy browsing the selection of Michigan-made products available along the checkout aisles. However, I do feel they could enhance the shopping experience by adding self-checkout options to make things a bit quicker.

During my most recent visit, I was looking to supplement my sides for our Monday meal. I grabbed their teriyaki salmon, which is always a hit! It paired perfectly with green beans, mac & cheese, and a mouthwatering dinner roll from Mookies Beans and Greens. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Overall, Market Fresh continues to be one of my go-to grocery store. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and great service!”

“The store was not crowded. The shelves were stocked. There was not a long wait in line to check out. There is only one cashier. She was friendly and fast.”

“I have been passing by E&N Market for awhile. The first time I went it was really nice. The store is kept nice. Customer service is good. They greet me every time. Joe, is the sweetest to me.”

“I prefer this place over a regular grocery store. It can be a little costly at times but food is super expensive right now. The prepared foods are prepared nicely and presentation is good.”

4.4 Superb122 Reviews

“It wasn't super-fancy, but it was clean. It had what I needed.
I called ahead to confirm that the item was there. I got there, found the item, paid for it, and left. The cashier was polite. Didn't over-do it. Didn't under-do it. Gave me my receipt, and that was it.”

“The best fresh produce in Ferndale. The meat counter simply can't be beat. I dislike the redesign that brought all the prepacked items and that almost forces you to only use the self check out. I don't work there; if I have to check myself out and bag everything I should get a discount! It takes away the friendly faces and personalization of a community market.”

“Aldi never disappoints! I stopped by for tostadas, and while the store was a little busy, it was still easy to navigate. I didn’t need a cart, so I was able to grab what I needed and head out quickly. The kids love spreading peanut butter and honey on tostadas, while Grandma prefers them plain.

Aldi continues to be my go-to for affordable groceries, especially with how high prices are right now. They have a wide range of gluten-free products, great produce, and the prices can’t be beat. Highly recommend this Aldi location!”

“I love Aldi's!? I can afford quality groceries on a modest budget here! I control hereditary hypertension by cooking @ home. All my food comes from Aldi's!”

“Nice place! All the name brand drinks, snacks, smokes, and a friendly family atmosphere. I usually go to the grocery store and shop at the Dollar Store, and when I'm done shopping, I pick up a few drinks. Lately, I have been doing my grocery shopping online at Walmart and getting home delivery. I also have been shopping at the Kenwood Liquor Store through Uber Eats or DoorDash and getting home delivery. There is usually a regular promotion running between Uber Eats and DoorDash, so the drinks keep coming ?”

“Great deals on previous seasons snacks, just watch the dates here. Quick check out, just make sure to be very date conscious. I buy the bags of nilla wafer off brand for my dog, she loves em!”

“I was having trouble finding something at different Costco locations. I called the Southfield location and Stacy was amazing. She was so kind and sweet and I called on Black Friday. Other stores were so rude but she was so kind and understanding. Stacy thank you so much Costco is blessed to have you.”
