“I recently visited The Basic Baker, and I must say, it was great! The scome and Coffie was just what I needed for my drive to work. The aroma of freshly baked cookies welcomes you, creating a the perfect atmosphere. I also stoped back in and got a half dozen oatmeal raisin cookies that were not only delicious but also had that perfect balance of chewiness and crunch. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. The Basic Baker has undoubtedly set the bar high for exceptional cookie experiences. Five stars well-deserved!”

“Expensive, but it's not a huge chain.I don't do all my shopping here, but I find myself stopping more and more.Once in awhile they have decent sales on things which brings down the price some.I like the meat department. It seems like pork products and ground beef are the best values. Once in awhile I'll buy beef. The quality always seems good.Close parking. Easy in and out.”

“I have never been to Hadley downtown.. I felt so comfortable in this tiny little town! I told the cashier, who is from Lapeer, that this town reminded me of North Branch years ago. The cashier told me that it was smaller than North Branch years ago! It has the Old wooden floors. I so much love little country stores like this! I give them 10 out of 10!!!”

“We started using Schwans at the beginning of the pandemic & they've been great. We really love our Rep, Sandie, who comes to our home every other Friday with a smile on her face & an awesome vibe! She knows the product very well & always has great recommendations for us. My family loves their ice cream selection as well as their different pizzas. The Brussel Sprouts are excellent & so are the Hamburgers & NY Strips. They also have some nice fish meals. We'll definitely continue to use Schwans & recommend them for the convenience & quality.”

“Food Castle in Davisburg has been making me Chicago Style Pizza for over a year. It is better than Pizza Papolis, that was in Troy, before they closed. Keep in mind if you order one of these menu secrets, standard bake time is 45 minutes, so plan accordingly.”

“Great local market/party store located on corner of mann rd and Clintonville road. They have a pizza shop inside. Slices and breadsticks seem to be available at all times and sometimes even wings. Large selection of alcohol is available and they are pretty good about having what you need or even getting it for future times. Parking is available around the entire building. Never crazy busy.”

The gentleman helping told me not to worry it happens all the time. “While I recommend this Kroger overall, it is starting to be by default only as there are limited other places to shop at. I know the Bakery here is essentially independent of Store Management, but I have repeatedly asked for you to carry Goldminer California Sourdough Toasted Onion Square Bread only to have it ordered ONCE and then never again. You see, I took the liberty of contacting them directly and they informed me that that bread variety was their number one seller in Michigan but yet you, Kroger in Lake Orion, seemingly refuses to sell it. Why? Furthermore, what happened to Russo's Onion Rye variety bread that you used to sell? A fellow can't even buy good bread to make sandwiches anymore. Pathetic. Horrible. I'm telling Mom.”

They are short staffed but apologized for inconvenience and would give me $20 gift sad the next morning when I picked up.Came the next morning. Got items. No $20 gift card, but manager sent nice note later.The manager called and apologized and fixed everything to my satisfaction. If you have a problem here, give them a chance to fix it”

It doesn't look like much from the outside, and if you can get by the clerks annoying right wing radio show playing on the stores speakers, they have actually have a large selection of liquor. I actually found what I was looking for that the big store down the road that I usually go to didn't have.If the owner is reading this, do yourself a favor and change the radio dial. It may seem like nothing to you, but there are many people that don't appreciate that and will avoid shopping your store just for that reason.”
