“Lakeview Food Basket is a great local store. The quality of the meats and the deli is always top notch, and they have a really good selection for a neighborhood grocery store. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell they take pride in the store and care about their customers. Definitely one of the best local spots around.”

“Andrew at self check out was rude refused to get manager and proceed to snatch the wine up and whip it around hitting me in my shoulder. Then when the store manager came Andrew kept running his mouth. And I was kicked out of kroger for obviouslyrunning my kouth back to defend myself. I will not be back. I will be reporting to corporate and the BBB and I will make sure to let everyone know not to shop here. I have 2 family member who have worked for kroger for 10 plus years and I have shopped over 100 krogers in the US doing instacart and not once have I experienced the rudeness and unprofessionalism that Andrew at kroger I Clarkston village off Dixie hwy in michigan displayed.”

“They are short staffed like everywhere else...sometimes their notifications are inaccurate. I just make sure to give them like 3 days. However, when you go into the pharmacy for pickup; the techs are always super friendly and go out of their way to find you the best price!! For that; I'll ignore the inaccurate notifications and continue to shop there.”
“Jim was working in the alcohol section and was very nice. He greeted me first and asked if I needed help when I looking for something. He promptly retrieved the item from the back cooler for me and was super helpful!”
“I love this store!! I have done hundreds of Instacart shop and deliver orders at this store and have never had a bad experience. The team here goes above and beyond to help out the people who shop here. Last night was honestly the most accommodating and helpful shopping experience I've ever done at any Kroger. The order cashed out at over $400 and while I did have to run and grab a different type of cheese for my customer the cashier was amazing. While she was scanning the order I went and got the right cheese, the man doing the bagging went and scanned the heavy items and a lady from another register that was just closed down for the night went and got another cart so that nothing got broken or damaged when losing it back into the carts. I don't know the cashiers name but I look for her every time I shop here. She takes the time to make sure all categories of groceries are placed with groceries of the same kind. She also has speed and patience which is very rare. After the order was paid for the cashier from another lane( the one who got me the cart) helped push the second cart to my vehicle and even offered to help me put it in my car. Not to mention it was pouring rain and very foggy! The 3 workers went above and beyond and gave me an exceptional experience I have never had at any other store. I really hope this review is read and they can get some credit or praise for how they went above and beyond. Thank you all for the help and showing the true dedication of customer service and helping me make this order a bit easier to shop pay and deliver.”

“A true gem. Definitely a shop I would make an effort to stop into every time I’m in town. Cute kitchen items to pick from, lots of homemade soaps, balms, lotions and even a sandwich bar that also had some yummy snacks! Incredible staff is the cherry on top.”
