“Clean large good selection. Some of the prices on their stuff can be a little exorbit. But they have some specialty items as well which makes it worth the trip. Giving their location next to Sam's club at Walmart it allows me to do all my really signature shopping for food items and sauces and spices in one convenient area. Staff is super nice building is really clean parking lot is well maintained other than the traffic around the area which is not their fault this place is great”

“I am writing to let you all know of the outstanding customer service I received from Gladys at store #1156 on the evening of December 31st, 2024.
I have never in my life been treated so warmly and kindly in a grocery store, she made my fiance and I feel like we were her family. I was visiting the area only briefly, and signed up to become a member. She made that process easy and fun, and let us in on a few coupon codes to further save. I wish I lived in Canton! Gladys is a treasure, which I'm sure you already know, but I couldn't bear beginning the new year without sharing the joy she brought us!”
“August is a small and clean Chinese grocery store in Canton. Prices are slightly higher than the larger Chinese grocery stores in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. The owners keep things very neatly organized and the vegetables in the back of the store are high quality and fresh with some of the items wrapped in plastic. There is a stamp card for loyal customers to get a percentage off after ten stamps. It would be nice to have a larger grocery store like the ones in Madison Heights and Ypsilanti, but at least there is an option for Canton and surrounding area residents to get Chinese groceries without leaving town.”

“I have 5 grocery stores within a 2 mile circle. I go to Fresh Thyme more than any other. Best fresh fruit and vegetables, good prices, and a health and wellness section that is far better than the rest. Periodic 25 to 30% discounts on all health and wellness products, plus they let you preshop the sale and reserve your purchases. Love this place and the people who work there.”
“Abo Halal Market (formerly known as Abdu Market) is my go-to place for fresh meat and a great selection of Asian - Indian, and Pakistani groceries. It’s important to note that this store is not related to the other Abdu Market in Michigan—both are entirely separate businesses.
I usually come here for their fresh meat, and they always chop it to the size I request. The process is seamless—I just call ahead to place my order, and it’s always ready for pickup when I arrive. All I have to do is walk in and pay. Super convenient!
Beyond meat, they carry a good variety of groceries, including spices, rice, lentils, and other essentials. They also have fresh snacks, which is a nice bonus. The store is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, both in person and over the phone, always greeting customers with warmth. Parking is shared with other stores in the plaza, but I’ve never had trouble finding a spot.
Overall, Abo Halal Market is a great choice for quality meat, a diverse grocery selection, and excellent customer service.”

“I was at the Walmart - Canton (MI Ave) pharmacy on April 15th around 5 pm. All the staff from the check- in person to the Pharmacist were outstanding! As a customer, I found the staff highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated, greeting you with a warm smile and kind greeting. I was provided with very helpful information about the new medication I was prescribed. Can’t say enough good things about this department. I highly recommend this Walmart Pharmacy to anyone who wants the best pharmacy- related service in town!”

“I love going to fresh produce markets and flower / plant stores even though I'm an online shopping gal. I enjoy going to Papaya market because they do have some of the freshest produce. Their Canton location is conveniently located, has ample parking (unlike the Dearborn one), and is cleaner. It is getting quite crowded now, with so many new setups and such but still, a wonderful place, especially for fruits that are not readily available elsewhere (figs, lychees, etc).”

“Ample parking. The inside cleanliness reflects the outside. Usually, it is easy to run in and out. Lately I have been using the pick-up option as to which the service has been wonderful. From picking fresh vegetables to perfectly choosen fresh fruits. And very little delay when I arrive for pickup.”
“I would like to recognize the outstanding customer service I received at the Walmart Supercenter on Ford Road in Canton, Michigan.
I visited the store this morning regarding a return that was slightly past the standard return window, and the manager Chloe handled the situation with exceptional professionalism, patience, and kindness. She took the time to listen to my situation and treated me with genuine respect. Instead of dismissing the issue, she went above and beyond to find a solution and help resolve it.
Her professionalism, leadership, and positive attitude truly represent what great customer service should look like. Experiences like this are the reason customers continue to return to this store.

“This review is long overdue. It has been a pleasure grocery shopping. It is a bit smaller. Clean and well organized but has everything. The special thing is the people who work at this Kroger. It isn't hard to find someone who will, if need be, take you to the place where an item is found. The cashier's are very personable and make great suggestions with information unknown to me. The deli/ meat/ dessert/cheese people are ready and willing to help. I have nothing but good things to say about this store. I've recently started shopping for delivery pick up. Items listed are items bought in the past. It's easier than I thought. When I ordered too many tomatoes by accident, the manager was very professional, insightful, and understanding when I asked if I could return them. Believe me, I've had uncomfortable situations at other stores. It doesn't happen here. During a holiday, the food turnover is unbelievable. Shelved are restocked within hours. Who could ask for more?”

“Not a bad shopping experience.
This location is larger than most non Marketplace Kroger stores in Michigan. The store is very clean and well organized. I was there while they were stocking shelves, which never bothers me.
The prices are the same as other locations in the area. Shelf tags were properly displayed as well.
I used self checkout to pay for my groceries, which was a breeze. A cashier was busy assisting other customers and seemed friendly.
I did observe a young man who was clearing the lot for carts. I haven't experienced anyone who was as fast and efficient as he was. This location has a golden gem for sure.
I highly recommend this location to anyone who loves a great shopping experience, with great sale prices!”

“This place is a hidden gem! As soon as you walk in you see they have an excellent selection of various hard to find and delicious meats, spices, rubs, and other goods.
The young man who helped me with our family’s prime rib did an incredible job cutting, netting, and seasoning it and the owner gave me spot on instructions for making the best prime rib I’ve ever had. His sons working the counter added extra charm in upselling us with delicious pepperoni logs for a snack on our way out.
We will definitely be back many times!”
