“I want to make it very clear that I am not giving this particular store five stars I am giving the stores employee five stars. I can’t remember her name, beautiful girl with a southern accent, short beautiful black hair, This woman brightens my day every single time I see her! She is kind, she is always working hard, but most importantly unlike the other employees she treats every single person who walks through the door with respect and greets them with a smile and a how ya doin…I have come into the store and been treated so awful by other employees and even the management, 90% of the time they are too busy to come to the register it is more important for them to talk about their pets in their home wife inside the office, but not this girl! I personally think she should be running that store. To the Corporate office, If you guys are actually smart enough to read these reviews you need to pay attention to this employee because she is amazing and you guys will be fools to lose her!”

“Love the products from this place! Service is generally okay. The young lady is always in the same place every visit, leaning over the counter on her phone. That being said, they are happy to assist when asked, this is part of the atmosphere now when we visit. Anyway, I highly recommend stopping in, haven't had a negative experience yet, and we visit a few times a month.”

Today I bought tortillas that expired in may and eggs that did yesterday. When I mentioned it the cashier was rude and told me to go get another one. There were no other eggs in that price range that weren’t “out of date” and I did not have time to go back and look through all the tortillas in the hopes of finding a pack not expired. When I got home I made my microwave “TV dinner” that smells rancid. It had expired in 2024! The last time I shopped here I bought a can of hot dog chili that expired in 2023. The butchers meat there is the best in town though and most of the people who work there are kind and very helpful.

“I've picked up slices from time to time. Always get the deluxe. It's amazing!I love the ratio of toppings to bread and cheese... it's a thinner dough and the perfect amount of cheese... not too much and not too little.”

“I have a Kroger membership and love the benefits it offers, especially the fuel points. If you shop on Fridays and Saturdays, you can earn 4x the fuel points, which is amazing. Thanks to these points, I usually get at least $1.00 off per gallon of gas twice a month.The membership also includes free items and discounts on many products I regularly buy, making it a great value overall. Because of this, Kroger is the only grocery store I shop at regularly, except for fruit and vegetables. While I usually prefer buying produce at a farmers’ market, Kroger’s selection isn’t bad at all.Overall, the membership and fuel points program really save me money and make Kroger my go-to for groceries and fuel.”
“Clean, good prices and nice staff. Nice to have a store in a rural area that does not over charge because they know you will pay extra to save a longer trip. All kinds of merchandise and I prefer several of their store brands to name brand. Best thing to happen to the Maybee area in a really long time.”

“My favorite local liquor store. If there is something that you would like them to stock just speak to the owner and he will do his best to have it ordered. He has gotten in at least five different items for me including my favorite whiskey (Traverse City Cherry) and Bawls Soda.
Also the food in the deli is fantastic, especially the fried chicken.”

“Monroe Meijer store has practically everything you need
The pharmacy is very easily located near the service center public bathrooms are handicapped extensible. You can easily find an employee to offer help and assistance. I go to Monroe Meijer store for all my needs and groceries at least once a week if not twice a week”
“In my personal opinion this is a smaller Meijer compared to other Meijer but I do like shopping at this Meijer on this particular trip though they seem to be out of quite a few things that I was looking for other than that the store is always clean and the workers are friendly”
“Customer Service is awful. If your purchase is over $100, they won't take it back without a receipt. They lost a customer that spends thousands of dollars a year at Meijer over a 110 dollar return. According to the store manager it was a "business" decision not a "customer service" decision. Apparently no one told him you don't have a business without customers.”

“Prices seem to be higher than Meijer but occasionally sale prices are the best in the county. They are always kind to me. I use a mobility scooter because I have muscular dystrophy. They are also as helpful as possible to old people with Alzheimer's disease. It is always very clean. They sell gas but it is over priced. They often have bargains on seasonal items they place outdoors to lure you inside. The employees seem to have a lot of integrity and ask if they can help handicapped people. Kroger is a preferred pharmacy with some of the big insurance companies so you will get better prices than elsewhere if Kroger is on the preferred list”

“I really hate going into any gas stations during this pandemic but I REALLY had to stop. The attendant was nice, wore her mask PROPERLY, and she was willing to help us find the items we were looking for. Also, I was pleasantly surprised on how clean they're public bathroom was. I mean it was spotless - which is highly unusual for any gas station.”
