“I would highly recommend Detroit Custom Paint to anyone in need of collision repair.
My fiance's new SUV was unfortunately sideswiped just before the holidays. She has a scarlet metallic paint job that needed to be done right and I knew just who to turn to.
Detroit Custom Paint was great right off the bat on getting us in to look at the vehicle and informing and instructing us on the insurance process.
We were able to get her vehicle in quick and they handled all the adjustments with the insurance company and were able to get parts in a timely fashion.
We were fortunate to get her vehicle in when they were extremely busy and they finished it quick then I expected.
As far as the quality of work, I cant say enough, they are truly artists in there. I can imagine metallic paint jobs are more challenging to blend perfect but these guys made her SUV look like it just rolled off the assembly line. It turned out perfect.
Everyone we spoke to and encountered that work there was great. They were super helpful and friendly and made a pain in the butt situation go smooth.
We cant thank Detroit Custom Paint enough for all their hard work.

“Came in this afternoon to purchase new bolts and a hex screwdriver to put my new license plate on the car, not only were they just great and helpful. They were so polite. They went out of their way to be that polite and it was definitely genuine which I definitely appreciate from the heart and I love to see! One of the employees helping me even offered to come outside and he actually did it all himself. I didn’t even have to lift a finger. He took the screws off took my license plate off and put my new license plate on very easy and quickly I have to say I have to get five stars awesome awesome awesome customer service definitely polite definitely knowledgeable hands-down I had a great visit no complaints in and out”

“JM Collision took super good care of me when I needed it. I had a buyer for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and had a day before they were looking at it. Rick told me to bring the car in and they would clean me up like new. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got the car back later that same day, it looked brand new. “Let's start off by saying; there's no comparison to you guys to autozone. I went to autozone and this manager. She wasn't too friendly to deal with the first time. She claimed when I went there this morning prior to you guys that she doesn't allow her techs to do anything to vehicles. She had an attitude. I'm like wow. I went next door and one of your workers there by the name of mike, not only took the time to assist, my situation came out to my vehicle and did whatever he possibly could to make sure. It wasn't my manifold and then checked where my air filter was. To Make sure everything was on tight. Then he came back and got the gauge. Hooked it up to my vehicle. For it to potentially be the oxygen 2 sensor so I want to take the time to thank Mike. In O'reilly's. You guys did a great job!!! Phoney on Auto Zone.”

Our service writer, Bob, was great to work with—professional, kind, and thorough. He kept us informed every step of the way and made a complicated situation feel manageable. The team discovered that our SCR Catalyst was part of a Cummins recall campaign that we were unaware of, and despite multiple service appointments across the country, it had never been addressed.
Thanks to Bob, who flagged the issue and looked out for us, the part was replaced at no cost to us. We understand that while corporate may have covered part of it, the Mount Clemens team went above and beyond to take care of what wasn’t.
This was absolutely the right thing to do, and it restores our faith in Cummins as a brand and in the idea that there are still good people out there doing the right thing.
