“We are from Missouri. Gillett's was highly recommended by our Airbnb host. Great place for bait and tackle. Large inventory of boat supplies. Good fishing tips at no charge.”
“Everything from baked goods to pizza & hand-dipped ice cream. Eat in or take out. Hot coffee, cold beer, and a wall full of jigsaw puzzles. Fishing tackle & bait, munchies and motor oil; in short, everything you'd expect from a real general store.”
“I've been going through Delton Pole for lumber and steel roofing the last month or so. Way better quality and prices than the big box stores. Also, they made timely deliveries to me. They shorted me a few 2x6's by accident and within an hour after calling, they brought them to me. When I get around to building a pole barn, I'll for sure be going through them.”
“I've come here a few times to rent U-Haul trucks. The staff is friendly. The inside is a bit old and dingy, but everything is out and easily accessible. Decent prices too.”
“Had what I needed 2x4s and some small exterior screws the wood was cheaper then expected but the screws were 12.00 a box. Decent place I didn't look around much but they looked to have a majority of what one might need for repairs.”
“Surprising amount of items in stock! Even had oakum in stock, regardless that the employee I asked didn't know what that was lol. Very friendly and helpful staff”

“Naps Ace, now Cloverdale Ace, owned by Hastings Ace has great selection and service. The gal managing the paint section and my guess is managing the store has an exceptional knowledge of paint and is super friendly and helpful. I bought a qt of black paint at the Hastings store that needed to be tinted darker. She tried to tint it darker and when this failed, she fixed me up with a qt of premixed black paint perfect for my project. Kudos to her. Really nice to have a great hardware store close to home.”
