While there are a few kibble brands I don't find there, they have several I do like. And with a loyalty program between the stores, it makes my life a bit easier.

My dog was super matted and the groomers at the chain pet store wouldn't touch him until a vet shaved his ears first because of the high risk and in this case inevitability of a hematoma. The vet said they would have to sedate him and it could take upwards of 4 hours costing over $600. I was stuck because it had to be done. Luckily a nurse at the vet suggested this place and she worked a miracle without sedating him and it only took an hour at a cost of $90. What impressed me most was I never told her what the vet said yet she repeated all the same issues I was facing letting me know that she knew as much (or more as it turns out in this case) than the vet. I wish I had taken before and after pictures but I can show what came off his ears without any hematoma.
You need to know she is cash and cash app only and cash app is an additional $5 which makes sense for a small biz as credit card fees can really add up and eat into profits. I'm posting a Pic of what we thought were matted ears but none of it was his ears . I'll also post an after pic so you can see his actual ears.
On a scale of 0-5 stars, I'd give her 10+! Sorry I don't remember their names, there were 2 ladies, I believe just one was the owner but they were both awesome.

We got our cat bloodwork done at her annual visit last week and thought everything would be fine. Unfortunately the vet called us to let us know she's having some early kidney issues. Instead of just giving me the treatment recommendation and moving on, the doctor sat with me on the phone for over 20 minutes walking me through all the options, giving me honest opinions like what she would do for her own cat, and answering all my questions. I walked away from the call obviously scared and sad but also confident in the plan. It was exceptional care and understanding that you can only get from a vet and team that truly cares

They assisted me and my rabbit through a GI stasis episode last year and were so responsive and called frequently to check on progress. The annual check ups for both animals always go smoothly and I appreciate their up front pricing and that I don’t feel pressured into unnecessary upsells I am not interested in. I love their fear free approach and that they complete most of their examination while my critters just curiously explore the exam room. Will continue to use Harvey for all my animal care needs.

13910 M-102, DetroitBrought my 7 year old dog here because her regular vet was booked. This vet clinic is a tiny gem and I could see why it was so busy. The staff is very kind and professional, and they were very fast. My dog is having stomach issues and after describing what it was they gave her an antibiotic and now 5 hours after taking the very first dose she’s starting to go back to normal, which means I’m not stressed anymore. The price of the visit was much much more affordable than other places. Will be coming back!

They’re known for their naturally fermented sourdough crust, and you can really taste the difference. The Detroit-style square pizza has a great combination of a crispy, browned edge with a soft, chewy center, and everything tastes fresh and made to order.
The restaurant is on West Vernor in Southwest Detroit and has a comfortable, welcoming dining room. They also have a surprisingly broad menu beyond pizza, including subs, salads, meatballs, wings, calzones and their famous Sicily Bread. The menu is halal, which is another thing that sets the place apart.
What really stands out is that this doesn’t feel like a generic pizza chain or a place trying to manufacture a “Detroit pizza” experience. It has its own style, and the sourdough gives the pizza a distinctive character. A good spot to visit if you want to try something a little different from the usual Detroit-style pizza.

The tuna flight was especially nice because I got to compare each one to the others. It was also some of the best (if not *the* best) salmon nigiri I’ve ever had. One chef had me try their freshly cut yellowtail (which historically I’ve been pretty neutral about yellowtail) and it was just as good as the salmon. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society
13569 Joseph Campau Avenue, DetroitMy nephew found a black kitten with gold eyes. They're super scared of cats, so he called me in the middle of the night to cone get her, or they kill her.
So I kept her a few days, but I have an adult female cat that does as she pleases like she pays the rent.
They didn't get along. Hissing, snarling, growling, etc, so I couldn't keep her. The shelters were full.
My last hope was the Anti Cruelty Society. They afreed to take her!! I was so thrilled and happy that they could find her a home!!
I donated a tote full of canned car food. God bless them for helping me and Kamari( I named her already.)
