915 W Nine Mile Rd, FerndaleOur dog was very very sick. We had 4 vets from a different vet practice tell us there was nothing left to do to save her. During this very difficult time Dr. John returned my call and shared that he wanted to help. Not only did he make our dog comfortable that night (after hours) by calling in medication, he followed up for the days on his own time. He truly saved her life when multiple other vets gave up way too soon. I have never seen a vet office with such compassion and dedication to sick animals. They truly care and go out of their way to help. My dog went from having a scheduled appointment to put her to sleep to feeling the best she has felt in years. She is happy and doing so well. I am forever grateful for west Woodward animal clinic and highly recommend them! They answered every single question and explained all outcomes. They were realistic with her possible prognosis but worked so hard to make our dog better. They also have very fair prices and in no way try to scam or do unnecessary testing to make money.

1150 E 9 Mile Rd, FerndaleVery patient, and informative after growing up on a farm and owning all sizes of pets, they were very informative, explained everything so that I could understand it, ( many clinics I've been to, talk over my head, like I'm the Dr, they put it into terms I could understand, never at anytime did I feel like I was rushed through the visit, will be making appointments for all of my pets here, they made me feel like I was more of part of the family, than a distant cousin. Thanks for the heartfelt care, and the knowledge I gained just from taking my dog here.

She took the time to understand Maverick’s personality and our goals for training, and gave us practical, easy-to-follow guidance that we could implement right away at home. Her approach was thoughtful and encouraging, and she made sure we felt confident continuing the training between sessions.
We really appreciated how professional, kind, and attentive she was throughout the process. It’s clear that she truly cares about the dogs she works with and wants to set them up for long-term success. Maverick responded so well to her!
We would absolutely recommend Devene and K9 Turbo Training to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive trainer.

He loves it so much that he starts whining to get out of the car the minute we get into the parking lot. Everyone is super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable so it makes the transition of dropping off your fur baby easy on the pet parent. I know my Theo is well cared for because the minute he hears “daycare” he starts excitedly sprinting around the house. I also love the options for added extras available like one-on-one play time, enrichment games, filled kongs, and themed photoshoots. We will definitely be with Canine to Five Ferndale for a long time.

On October 1, 2025, Regina's Authentic Mexican Food Truck catered our 2025 Employee Appreciation Event at CW Bearing, and they absolutely exceeded expectations! The food was exceptional—so much so that employees were going back for seconds and even thirds. Days later, people are still raving about the delicious flavors, the friendly and pleasant staff, and the impressively efficient service.
The catering team brought not only amazing food but also a warm and welcoming energy that truly elevated our celebration.
We wholeheartedly recommend Regina's Authentic Mexican Food Truck for any event and look forward to the opportunity to work with them again in the future!

Had the peanut butter pie for dessert and that was good too. The place was clean and the service responsive. All-in-all I have nothing bad to say about this place and look forward to coming again.

They get pretty crowded on weekends, but we were seated right away for our weekday brunch. The service was always great, and the waiters were very amicable. I really loved our waiters both times we were here. I got a strawberry cheesecake waffle today which was excellent. The cream cheese with the whipped cream, graham cracker dust, and fresh strawberries made for a very decadent breakfast meal that was surprisingly not as heavy as it looked, though I would not say it was light. I didn't use the syrup, but I could see how some people might want it for an extra dose of sugar. The waffles were nice and crisp, and I would definitely order this again if I'm in the mood for a sweet treat. Overall, this is a nice family friendly spot if you're in town!

1820 E 9 Mile Rd, FerndaleI hosted my daughter’s first birthday party at Detroit Fleat and I don’t think we could have had a better experience. The venue is fun and colorful and has a great outdoor area. It was perfect for a birthday party and didn’t need to be dressed up too much (or at all). We had two food trucks (Gambino Pizza Truck and Kona Ice) that fit in perfectly outside. We also ordered vegan desserts from Mother Handsome that were amazing and samosa from Royal Indian. We had a pinata, bounce house and a henna artist. The owner, Katie was easy to work with and Olivia and the rest of the staff was also great! Very responsive and helpful. The outdoor area is great for kids (and dogs) and the venue has some of its own toys for the children to play with. Everyone had a blast and I cannot recommend Detroit Fleat enough for any event!
