“There meat counter is well stocked and all the employees are really nice one time when I was there I couldn't find the home made pizza and I can't remember the employees name but he went of his way and made me one I took it home put it in the oven it was very good and every time I come back to the store I look for that pizza”
“A ton of grocery items can be found here, but it's basically a restaurant supply so you're gonna find bulk type options, and not much in the way of small single serving items. So if you want food for a large outing or event, this is the place to go. Prices are good as a result.”

“Home made, delicious, generous portions! I tried the carne asada tacos and everything was home made. The corn tortillas, the green sauce. It was delicious and authentic! I got them the “Mexican way” (it’s called that on the menu) with cilantro and onion but they offer an “American way” with lettuce and tomato. Please do yourself a favor, get out of your comfort zone, and order it the traditional Mexican way! I haven’t had this good and authentic Mexican food since Los Angeles. (And who ever they have making these tortillas needs a raise, they are glorious!)”

“I was just in and am missing a bag with 5 items. I won't be able to come back as I had to get a ride there tonight. I can come tomorrow for my other 5 items. Been trying to call but 13 attempts it just rings and rings and asks me to put in some code. See you tomorrow July 10th for the rest of my its. It was roughly 10inut4s before 7pm and my total was $45.54 including $20 cash back if that hps look this up. Obviously calling and talking to someone would be better but it appears you are short staffed and your cashier/attendant isn't taking calls in order to get stocking done. So this is all I have. Would've really been easier to have them find items before the next customer gets home with some freebies and I have to try to convince you. But phone is going unanswered 13 times.”
“This place has come in clutch for me multiple times! Sometimes it’s hard to find certain Asian fruits and vegetables, specifically more southeastern Asia.
We’ve been looking for fresh Mangosteen for months. We’ve found it canned or in juices but never fresh. We learned that it’s hard to import and very fragile (they don’t ship well). We happened to stumble across it today! Such a lucky and rare find! All in very good condition.
Another lucky find was green papaya!
They have a large selection of meats, fruits, vegetables, spices and a decent frozen section (meat, seafood, breads, vegetables) — we personally picked up a big pack of frozen paratha.
I had to dig around for the Kasoori Methi (fenugreek) but found a 3.5 oz bag for $1.99.
Definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for something you’ve had a hard time finding.”
“This is my go to store for its convenience. While checking out on February 21 in the afternoon the cashier asked if I found everything. I mentioned an item that I needed. She left and came back with it as they were restocking and she knew where it was. I felt she went above and beyond her duties by listening to my needs and even opened the door to help me out. Staff is always pleasant and helpful at this Dollar General.”
“I've been dealing with this particular establishment since there opening.The best thing I can say and admire about this business is that if the bank isn't open or you're having difficulties cashing a check! This is the location to come to they have assisted me on several occasions successfully I might add with quite substantial amount tender, sure they take there cut which is reasonable given this is not a bank! But" performs as such when needed, These are some of the brightest" and we'll to do businessmen I've ever had the pleasure of being acquainted.”

“I went for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by the great international selection. I was looking for labne and found it at this store, along with some German candy and some nice canned pate and I sure will go back to get bulk grains and spices.”

“This is a fantastic location. The best one in all of Lansing! The lady who did my pick up order tonight was fabulous! From the moment I walked in she did nothing but help her customers and did it with a smile on her face! She even double bagged my items and tied it , because the items I had were heavy.I will not shop at any other location from now on. Every other location seems to have really angry people working at all times and they make the shopping experience horrible! It really matters how the employees treat people and this lady has it down pat! I wish I would have gotten her name just so I could tell her manager how awesome she was!”

“I've shopped here for almost 20yrs & before that remember coming with my grandparents. They've ALWAYS had the nicest staff, the owners are always busy around the store & chatting with customers and the store is always clean & fully stocked.
