The drive behind the units was supposed to be drivable within 2 weeks of renting, which wasn't drivable by the time we emptied our unit 1 month later. Friendly office lady, would probably rent again if we ever needed to.”

“I happened to see the Yelp advertisement for Hampton Storage when searching for their phone number... so thought I'd give some kudos to this great place. Back in 2012 my grandparents passed away and I ended up being the one to clear their home of over 50-years (that gramps built). Needless to say I had the once in a life time opportunity to revisit my childhood as my gramps never got rid of anything. He built the house and anything he brought into it was dam well going to stay there. Well, after several months flying back and forth from my home in Santa Monica, CA to coordinate repairs to prep the house to sell ... and more than one garage sale along with a special "yard sale" to liquidate my gramps life long collection of Radio Controlled Airplanes (that he built from scratch) I ended up with a garage full of things I just couldn't part with. I've lived in Southern CA since 1981 when I left good ole Bay City to seek my fortune out west however, no way would I ever be hauling that garage full of memories out west. I just don't have the room here. So, the great family at Hampton Storage has helped me hold on to my childhood memories since 2013 when I rented two storage spaces from Mike. He was extremely easy to work with... and all over the phone! Hampton Storage is clean, well lighted, easy to access yet secure, and just off Center Ave. in Essexville. When I fly back to visit I stay with my mom in Saginaw but its still easy getting to Hampton Storage from Saginaw. However, the biggest and best thing about Hampton Storage are their rental rates. I did a lot of research back in 2013 looking for the right storage rental place... that was near my grandparents home off Youngs Ditch Rd. Hampton Storage turned out to be the perfect place for my needs. The only thing I have to do now after all these years is decide just how many more years I'm going to rent storage before deciding to move back to the Bay City area. I think its going to be a few more years... I'm only in my 60's!”
