“This was one of those days. Came home from an errand to discover my garage door opener (the old fashioned kind that clips to one's sun visor) didn't work. No big deal, right? Take it apart, see what battery it needs, and walla. But instead of that happening, the thing went into 5 (counting a battery) separate pieces and I couldn't even get it back together and didn't have a battery. Called Gill-Roy's Hardware in Frankenmuth and they said bring it in! Took it in right away and it took a very competent experienced guy (didn't get any names) a few tries to put it together. This made me feel not as stupid as I was feeling. He checked out the one that hadn't worked and my spare -- put a fresh battery in both and I drove home, tried both out and now I had the walla moment. Thanks, Gillroys, for your fast and friendly help and fixing something that had felt like it was turning into an aggravating problem. Thanks for being open on Sunday. Thanks for picking up the phone. And thanks for the very nicest person who fixed things! (Happily there are no photos or videos of any of this.)”

“We needed some cable connectors and buckets we were met by friendly helpful staff upon arrival. They were not pushy and let us shop but also made it known they were there to help. While the prices were a little bit higher than larger stores it was a savings in fuel and time. I would rather spend my money locally so I don’t mind a little bit of an increase to stay local. I am glad to see they got some dewalt products in as well. We will be back in the future!”

“I got home from work around 8pm and my furnace wasn't working, it was freezing in my home. I called the after hours number and Kendall said he'd come out and was here in 30 minutes or less.
