“We were talking to a friend about Treetops Resort and in our conversation, he noted we needed to visit the Sparr Mall. As we were driving, taking in the fall colors, we happened upon a sign directing us to the Sparr Mall. We knew it was small, but enjoyed seeing the selection of wares available. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.”

“Too early for most vegetables, but still fun. Always a prime source for maple syrup products. Two people sharing a table have superb Petoskey and pudding stone products, and the rocks in varying degrees of finishing”

“Gordon foods is one of the best places to buy bulk groceries in Michigan. I wish we had GFS out in Arizona. You do not need a membership to shop here. The prices are reasonable and you are able to get a good quantity of items. The service is friendly here as well. The best things to get here are frozen items and meat products. They also sell bulk paper products that are worth it as well.”

“Fun place to shop, can't be only place to use because of limited stock, but good deals generally for what it carries. Steering clear of the produce is advisable. Frozen seafood is generally excellent, although lobster bites and shrimp bites are mediocre. Aldi branded cookies are very good, as are some of the salty snacks (but not the pretend Fritos).”

“Meijers is a great place to shop. They have seasonable clothes and a lot of food that is hard to find like blue cheese and asparagus. I also really like their deli chinese chicken but would prefer to get it warm. You can find most household items here too but I do remember when they sold plumbing stuff and when they used to be open 24 hours. On the plus side kids can still ride Sandy the horse for a penny and there are always a lot of pennies supplied so kids can ride even if they can't get any pennies from their parents.”

“It's the best place for whole food organic vitamins and supplements. I'm a 53 year old tree climber which is like being a dinosaur in my business. I'm still out working and out climbing "men" half my age and JoJo's market is a key part of keeping my edge. The ladies who work there are knowledgeable friendly and well worth the 5 star rating in this TreeBarians opinion”

“Personnel is almost always friendly & helpful, clean organized store. The family fare store chain (formally Glenn’s) has always had the best fried chicken, & whole baked chickens!”

“Female gm was very rude. What I mean by rude is she wasn't smiling and had a very short tone of voice on her. I asked if they had milk coming in any time soon because I know they just opened up a few months ago and she said "does it look like it?" In a snippy tone of voice. If you don't like your job mabe find something else lol idk people are disrespectful these days! Other then that the store was kept very clean and I got everything else I needed for a short mini vacation.”

“I have an interesting relationship with this place. Aesthetically the building is beautiful with its alpine-inspired architecture and the beautiful murals lining the interior walls make you feel like you are in the Sistine chapel. The clock in the front with the little wooden swiss people dancing is excellent too. It's a nice vibe, but as for the products, it's what you would expect with most family-fare supermarkets. For the most part overpriced but they have great deals if you have a yes card. There also is a built-in dairy queen and Starbucks but be warned... do not use the bathrooms near the dairy queen. Every time I've tried it looks like an atomic bomb went off with water and s*** everywhere. Just plain nasty yo.”

“Stopped in tonight for various things but while we were there we visited the vision center because my husband opened his glasses case at dinner and discovered the screw was missing in one of the earpieces. Dawn in the eye glass department replaced the screw and tightened the other. She fixed him right up and no charge!! She was super nice too!!”
