As we were driving, taking in the fall colors, we happened upon a sign directing us to the Sparr Mall. We knew it was small, but enjoyed seeing the selection of wares available. My wife and I we started with appetizer we had the mango and BBQ wings it was so magnificent after that we order our entree I had the Dave's platter,side of jerk pork& fried chicken and my wife had the oxtail with fries everything was well seasoned.     “Yesterday I went to the Dollar General on N Centeal Ave and got a couple of the things there. I wanted to pay half with cash and the rest on my ebt card. The machine wouldn't take the card Rick was his name. He took out a dollar to help pay the rest owed. I'm thankful for his help he didn't have to help but did, I'm thankful for his help and he should be rewarded for it.”

The store is clean, well-organized, and has a great selection of groceries, household items, and just about everything else you might need. The shelves are usually well stocked, and the employees are friendly and helpful. It’s a convenient place to shop, and I appreciate being able to find so many things in one location. Overall, Meijer in Gaylord is a great store and definitely worth visiting! And always I only get four stars to everyone that deserves it because there is always room for improvement.”

    “Female gm was very rude. What I mean by rude is she wasn't smiling and had a very short tone of voice on her. I asked if they had milk coming in any time soon because I know they just opened up a few months ago and she said "does it look like it?" In a snippy tone of voice. If you don't like your job mabe find something else lol idk people are disrespectful these days! Other then that the store was kept very clean and I got everything else I needed for a short mini vacation.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
