“A big shout out to Godwin Plumbing for coming to the rescue when water started spraying from a connection in my basement. They arrived quickly and arranged for the city to come shut the water off to my house so they could fix the problem. I was very grateful to be able to get the water back on and the leak fixed. Highly recommend! They had previously done some routine repairs at our house and we were very happy with that service as well.”

“I went in today to get a new tank of gas. The black guy freaked out and told me to stay outside. When he came out he asked if I was a terrorists because I brought the tank inside to get refilled. He went one to tell me all about how you can’t bring on an empty take because it would explode. I will never get gas there again.. he is so unprofessional”

“HF is my prime source for tools that I need now and probably won't use regularly. Nobody beats them at this game.
On the other hand, they won't replace DeWalt or Snap On for the professional contractor or auto technician. HF's niche is selling tools that work acceptably well at a very low price.
They also sell some tools of moderate to moderately high quality. These, too, are value priced relative to their quality.
On the downside, you'll typically pay extra for warranties beyond 90 days. But that doesn't matter if you'll only use the tool once, and especially if the price is so low you can buy it multiple times and still come in cheaper than the competition. HF prices often are that good. Definitely worth checking them out next time you NEED a tool to finish a job.”
“This place is amazing! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a fantastic selection of wood working tools. Very friendly and welcoming. I have been in here several times and every single time I have not had my expectations met but surpassed. Today I worked with Don he's very knowledgeable and professional. I love that they offer classes as well. By far some of the best experiences I've ever had with wood working come from here. Please don't hesitate to ask if you can't find something sometimes it just hasn't made it to the floor yet.”

Which for today standards is A-typical. The staff doesn't look like they're trying to avoid you.
They're always friendly and able to direct you to your items. My hometown Ace is great. They can be a little more pricey on things but the convenience of not walking 3 miles around a warehouse to find items that should be stored together. Ace also has a rewards program. They don't have everything, but they usually have what you need.”

“Rented the 11 pound demolition hammer, worked great at removing 2x2 ceramic tiles from my fireplace hearth. Previous owner set them with concrete…I tried using a chisel but it took forever to just get one up. Hammer removed them in 2 hours. Big mess but definitely worth it. Need some muscle! Service was excellent, cost about $ 50.”
“Not Lowe's fault however their lumber and all lumber everywhere is under sized. Example...I needed a 1x8 random length. Thier sizes were between 5/8-3/4 x7 1/4. The only true size they carry is synthetic and steps. With that said the customer service is 5 star and willingness to help keeps me coming back”
