“We had just a reception/cocktail party in the Kindel Room and it was perfect for our event! We wanted mingling, dancing, and the big open space was great for that. We loved the brick with some elegant designs, bathrooms are so nice, the bartenders at our event were so friendly and fun, and we had a great time. Communication from the staff was frequent which made me feel good for what you spend to have an event in a space and when you have questions! Overall our experience was great and the Kindel Room in the Goei Center was perfect for our party! 🤍”
“Our new favorite place! Only negative thing is that we just learned of it. The chicken pot pie is the best I’ve ever had. Cheesecake is unbelievably creamy and delicious. A very charming store. Lots of goodies and good conversations. It’s a must try if you are in the area!”

“Amazing venue! It's so beautiful inside and has such a convenient layout. The staff is also so friendly and very helpful! We didn't want to have alcohol at our wedding and they made it easy to have that choice. We also wanted our own caterer and, while we ended up going with one of theirs, they did make it possible and feasible to choose someone else. Overall it was a very good experience! “I had my Baby Shower here and it was a great space! The event space was plenty big for the amount of people we had invited, the staff was very friendly and were willing to help with anything we needed day of. There was even a kitchen space to use which came in handy!”
“I've been in this building for many reasons. All the restrooms are ALWAYS clean! I love that security is always present and usually very observant. Sometimes it's hard to get in from Fulton, but if you come down Lafayette you can easily park at the top and take the stairwell down.”
“I enjoy going to the dance events they host! All the teachers are great and are extremely welcoming! My favorite is the latin night and the latin classes. They also rent out the building for private events, so keep that in mind if you are ever in need. It's a beautiful venue.”
“Came here for a comedy show, it was so good! The venue isn’t huge, but worked perfectly for the event. The owners were so kind and accommodating. Clean environment, well taken care of.

“I've been there many times to see my buddy's bands play, Polosky Days and other occasions. It's a staple in our town.
It's only shortcoming is,,, no elevators. The entertainments usually on the 2nd floor and after a few,,, the stairs get tougher!”

We had an amazing experience at The Venue at The Candied Yam on Division Avenue. The hospitality from the entire staff was outstanding. Jessica Ann Taylor truly did her thing! She was welcoming, attentive, compassionate, and made our entire family feel at home.
Jessica and the staff helped us host the Celebration of Life for my brother, and everything was perfect during such a difficult time. The venue was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and care they showed our family. The staff did an excellent job from anticipating our needs to letting us know a large table near us was going to order soon, so we may want to get our order in first. The menu had lots of great choices. Several gals raved about the meatloaf. I had the fish tacos for 15$.”
“I went to a two day conference here. The only downside was parking. The food was great, the sessions for the workshop were great and the place was super clean and inviting.”
“This was the place that Linc Up was using to give out free Thanksgiving turkey or ham to those that pre-register prior to the give away. The process was much more smoother, quick and easy to pick up the turkey or ham. Plus they gave away a $40 free gift certificate to the Giant Supermarket around the corner to buy any groceries.”
“First time at a Golf Simulator, I will return again. The staff are very helpful and very attentive. There were other groups playing it was a good experience and a great way to work on swing in the winter months. They serve alcohol and food and we had a wonderful time.”

“Moderately sized arena for all sort of events. Good seats, even the way to close to the ceiling, for me, seats. Basic event prices for food, drinks and memorabilia. Could use an update on the restrooms, but, other than that good fun place for whatever is being held.”

“This is the closest hotel to GRR. Combined with the park & ride option, it is ideal for traveling. Travelers will also like the nice little breakfast buffet served daily.
Staff are helpful and personable. The young woman working the front desk remained cordial and unflappable even as the lobby filled with worried guests gathering on this low floor watching the TVs for the minute by minute updates on an approaching tornado. WELL DONE!
Of course, my room was clean and had all the expected stuff including liquid hand soap and shower gel, along with shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
- BTW the tornado missed us ;-)”

They have free coffee, tea, and water in the lobby.
The shuttle to from the airport was on time.
The only thing for me, the mattress was very soft but that’s a matter of preference.”

“What a find! I'll be coming back to spend at least a week in this place. Sadly, we only had a couple of hours available on our itinerary to be at the Gardens, so we only had a small taste of the incredible depth it offers. Still, our time in the sculpture gardens section was enough for us to accumulate dozens of memories (and photos). Overwhelming in its beauty and alive-ness!”
