“Large easy access for autos and truck islands for tractor trailers. They carry recreational vehicle gasoline. RV Gasoline is 87 octane with no alcohol in it. It costs a bit more, but your small engine equipment will run better and last longer.”

This is hands-down one of the most unique cultural spaces in Detroit. Liquor Basket x Push Gallery is a one-of-a-kind destination that combines a neighborhood business with a powerful artistic mission. Even though I don’t personally drink, I visited to explore the art—and I was absolutely inspired by what I saw.
The gallery, led by Detroit artist Dominick Lemonious, creates a platform for local creatives to shine. The exhibits are bold, thought-provoking, and deeply rooted in Detroit’s identity. It’s clear this space is about more than just aesthetics—it’s about storytelling, community, and honoring Black Detroit voices through visual art.
Their current exhibition “Community First” features a range of talented artists whose work captures the spirit and resilience of the city. It’s welcoming, meaningful, and something everyone—no matter your background—can appreciate.

“I needed the bathroom. It was open for public use, which is rare these days. It looked like it was cleaned regularly, but minimally. The walls looked unclean and the floor didn't look great but wasn't muddy and had no puddles around it. The toilet and sink were clean. The store itself looked great. Very clean store. Thank you for having a decent enough bathroom open for use! You have no idea how much I appreciate it.”
“If you can find a better sub for cheaper, then go there. You can't because it doesn't exist. That's why God created Joe( the owner not Biden, that was the Devil) because there is no competition for this place when it comes to Subs. You would be better off looking for bigfoot or the lucky charms leprechaun.
Also lottery, beer an the usual corner store stuff... Try the sub though. Best in town”

“First time coming here. Wanted to get some gas before going to the Burger King that it was connected too. The owners were absolutely friendly and kind. They offered me free donuts, water and coffee! Such great people! Store was clean too, it's a major pain to access this place with all the construction happening.”
“Went to the pharmacy drive thru to pick up my kid's prescriptions at 930p and the pharmacist did everything to make sure I got it that night even stayed over past his time and welcomed us in the store to sit and wait. I had a good experience here and he was very nice and patient with us.”

“I had an exceptionally positive experience at this BP station today.
The service I received was truly outstanding and thoughtful. I was juggling a baby car seat and needed to pump gas, and the gentleman working inside immediately noticed the situation. He came outside without hesitation to pump the gas for me.
This level of kindness and helpfulness goes far beyond typical customer service. I was so appreciative of his consideration for my inconvenience that I was happy to tip him \$10.00.
It's refreshing to encounter such genuinely thoughtful employees. Highly recommend this location!”

“They keep the store clean. I'm sure it's difficult with some of the people in this area. Good staff here. The card reading at the pumps could be faster. I'm considering frequenting a different gas station because of this. It was never this slow until 7-11 bought them. It's ridiculous because paying at the pump is supposed to be faster. It's actually faster to go inside, wait in line, and pay the cashier than to use the card reader at the pump.”
