“Was going through a difficult time me and my kids stayed here until we got in a shelter just for one night I like the location the prices was a bit much to me but that's probably because the location and they probably want a standard for the people that come to there room that can afford it they don't want just anybody running in and out of their hotel which I like about that too you only stay one night I think the room was $85 with the deposit which was like 5 or 10 dollars I like that that the deposit wasn't so high I didn't really have any complaints just bathrooms was a little small”

“Key Jones and the entire staff was very professional, courteous and extremely helpful. They answered all of our questions politely and made us feel right at home. We come to the Jazz festival every year and this hotel will absolutely be our only choice for lodging.”

“My husband and I have stayed here twice. Once in 2022 and once in 2024. In those two years, there have been a number of renovations to the building, and they are still ongoing. Where there used to be an art gallery is now Presley's, an incredible restaurant. The Library, a small bar with large attached lounge area is warm and cozy and offers live piano music. This lounge area is also where you'll find Reception. The main lobby area is beautiful and comfortable with plenty of space to socialize or relax. Our room, though on the smaller side, had everything we needed and was very enjoyable. There was a bar cart, coffee cart, desk space, large screen tv, side chair and ottoman, extremely comfortable bed with phone charging ports in the side lamps and spacious shower. The general feel of the hotel is artistic, classy and intimate. Perfect for a couples getaway! The location is great, within walking distance to restaurants, entertainment venues and local points of interest. There is also free public transportation which hits stops about every 15 minutes. While there is public parking available close to the hotel, valet parking is available and a nice option when staying in the colder months. If you're staying in downtown Detroit, I would highly recommend staying at the historical Aloft. Truly a beautiful and enjoyable experience every time.”

“Rooms were clean and spacious, love having the kitchenette. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings were good. Parking was easy and the hotel is easily accessible. The only negative I have to share is that when you pull into the parking lot you have to provide your last name and room number to enter the lot, great, no problem. But this goes to an intercom right at the front desk so you are openly saying to whoever happens to be around the desk at that time - the last name and room number. This is certainly not a secure method and should be revisited. Maybe connected to a phone line so it’s not over a loud speaker in the lobby.”

“This is not a bad hotel to stay in while in Warren. The hotel itself is very average but it is very clean. The hallways, the rooms, elevators, common areas, the grounds are all really well kept. The staff is pretty nice and helpful.”

“Everything about the hotel is amazing from the Artwork to the books in the halls and the rooms the bars the alley way the luxury touches to everything Shinola did not miss except the room's don't have microwaves but if you call down they'll bring one up for you !”

“This Hotel is old, so remember that. The rooms aren't giant they don't have ALL the amenities, but it's got location, location, location AND atmosphere. The rooms are small but cute, the bathroom was rad and the lobby was radder. It's close to so much including the people mover which is awesome. The Candy Bar is downstairs which is super fun and is across the street from the Opera house. SO, if you're down for historic charm close to fun things... look no further.”

“Frankie Beverly and Maze was amazing! The first time I've been to the Sound Board. I would not mind going back for another concert. We had pretty good seats & the crowd was laid back. The venue is small & seems as if there is not a bad seat in the house!”

“First and foremost, the manager, Mr. Toma was exceptional. As swift action was needed to find a place to stay for the night and options running thin he made it happen for my family and I. We were given amazing service from start to finish. If I’m visiting Metro Detroit I will make sure to book here. Thanks again.”

The staff even gave us an extended check out. 10/10 would recommend.Rooms: The rooms were very clean and were cleaned again often.Nearby activities: There is a gas station with a 7-11 there. I really enjoyed walking over to the nearby Tim Hortons.”

“The casino is huge and crowded. You best either have a particular machine in mind or have enough time to walk around cause getting turned around is easy. There is an issue though with getting waitstaff/servers to bring waters around. Also some of the food places are understaffed and were a tad slow. The casino itself is clean and bright. Lots going on and variety of machines to choose from. Can't say how hot the slots were though... some bells, no yells this time.”

“Only minor complaints.Other guests were not really abiding by the quiet time rules on the first night, but it was the night of the Detroit Lions game...The only other thing for me is/was the bed.... i wasn't able to get comfortable due to lack of support for my back...”

“I stayed for four nights and it was a very good stay, the bed and pillows were comfortable there is 24 hr coffee that was really great have. Breakfast are grab and go breakfast, egg sandwiches and other continental items on the go around table. The only thing I didn’t like was that they’re weren’t any microwaves in the rooms. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Our only negative was that the valet took an hour to bring our vehicle! I texted, then reminded, then found our ticket in the pile of tickets to remind him again! There was also a car blocking traffic and the valets were talking that none of them could remember who it belonged to and if it was waiting for someone to come down or if it needed to go to the garage. The completely disorganized valet service was bad enough that I will not stay here again.”

“Our room was spacious, and we had our own parking spot right in front of it. The inn's location is great; easy walking distance to downtown. Founders Brewing is close by. We felt safe. The owner, Mona, really aimed to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit; we're looking forward to returning. When we do, we'll stay at this wonderful inn.”

“Everytime we come into town and the room I like is available I like to come here only because of the front desk "Sommer" it makes it all worth the extra mile or dollar to stay. Motel 6 is lucky to have a great girl like her honestly I can say I'd probably wouldn't stay here if it wasn't for her beautiful personality.”

“Everything was wonderful. We had tickets to a show at the Fox and chose the Inn because of the charm and location. The location is excellent for the stadiums and theaters. Arrived at 4:00 to our pick of spaces in the lot. Checked in and walked to the Grey Ghost for dinner before heading to the Fox and a quick walk back to the Inn. I wish there had been a heavier comforter on the bed (only a thin sheet and bedspread). We found a second quilt/bedspread in the wardrobe, so it helped some. If the weather had cooperated it would have been perfect.”

“I absolutely love The Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand and their hotels. The hotel rooms are always very clean, comfy, and spacious. I recently stayed at the location in Sterling Heights, MI, located on 15 Mile Road. The service from the staffers and management was professional, attentive, friendly, and caring. The reason for my stay at this location was due to furneral / loss reason. During my entire stay, the management was caring toward my needs and requests. The management accommodated me with my request, and I gave them thanks."Thank you so very much" toAssistant General Manager, Paolo, for his professionalism, attentiveness, care, and concern.
