“Purchased a 2 gallon gas container today, filled it with 1.5 gallons of gasoline and while using it on the first attempt it leaked all around the seal onto my hand. I removed the attachment, secured it again, yet it continued to leak. I called Ace and spoke with a gentlemen who stated I could bring it back in for a refund. Once I emptied the container and cleaned it, I returned to the store where the same gentlemen attempted to teach a new employee how to do a return. In doing so he made an error, was unable to correct it, and subsequently put my refund on a gift card. I asked him to refund my credit card but he stated he could not do so and I would need to speak with a manager on Monday. This isn't the type of service I expect from Ace, especially after selling a defective product that leaked gasoline all over the place. Completely unacceptable.Update: Erin spoke with me on Monday, May 8th from this location and was able to issue a refund to my credit card for the effective item and apologized for the inconvenience.”

“We recently moved to South Lyon and this store has been amazing. I have been trying to find a landscape company to get my lawn aerated and couldn’t find anyone so I came to the store to rent a machine, unfortunately I didn’t have a vehicle that could fit the machine. Butt I live just down the street and they were kind enough to make an arrangement to have it picked up and delivered. Thank you for all your help!”
“Everyone in the store was super friendly and helpful! Pat very patiently helped me choose the appropriate toilet, loaded it up and made sure I had everything I needed to go with it. Brandon saw us walking up to checkout and immediately offer his assistance to get it in our vehicle. Elizabeth was the lovely lady that kindly checked us out. This was over all a great experience! Packed, and I mean packed, full of most likely what ever you need to get a job done, and If they don’t have it, they will order it for you. When you walk in, immediately the staff will ask you if they can help you find what ever you need, and they do! They are all very helpful and friendly, they truly appreciate your business. Give Gilroys in Highlnd a try you will not be disappointed.”

Super nice guy, patient, knew where the 3 items were the 3 separate times i asked. knowledgeable guy, he answered every question with patience and ease and knew every answer. I am not sure if this dude was on his A game, but, his "A" game, is superb. if I were Josh, I would get far away from retail and go to college for a technical degree. lawyer, doctor, accounting, pilot or something.”
“Had a wonderful experience. Had to get a batterybfor my RV and wasn't sure what exactly I needed. Andrew E helped me find the right battery and carried it out to my car for me (those things are heavy!). He went over the return policy with me and was very polite the whole time. “Rural King is close to being an unmatchable store in MY estimation! It is certainly a "Superstore" when it comes to the products they supply, with everything from A - Z, & AA - ...! Each time I visit I run out of time to see all they have to offer! The staff are Very Friendly, Knowledgeable, & Helpful! I could spend hours & hours in here, & may even have to be asked to leave!”
