“I always loved shopping at the Trading Post. I was only about 2 years old when my parents started taking us on vacations to visit relatives in Alanson and Pellston. My late husband loved going there also and bought himself a really nice wooden yoyo with Indian River engraved on it. They had a large selection of gifts for everyone. Hope to one day go back again.”

“(Not sure about the hours but they were open at 5:00 AM when I got here)Very friendly employees , they accept Apple Pay which was extremely helpful considering I left my wallet at home which is 30 mins away. This is now my every morning stop after dropping my fiancé off at work.”

“The young lady that checked us out was wonderful! It's so awesome that the company allows people to be them selves by allowing different types of piercings. When my wife (who also has almost all the same types of piercings) mentioned that to the young lady, the other worker, old "no piercing Patty" yelled from across the store "it used to not be like that and I don't think it's right, shouldn't have any piercings in your face" well it's a good thing it isn't up to you no piercing Patty.”

“Very nice local grocery with everything you should need if you are visiting indian river. Clean, friendly and convenient. The prices are a little more them say meijer or walmart but that's to be expected and it's not to the point where you avoid the store to go somewhere else by any means.
