“The USPS at 1451 Lake Drive is by far the best postal office in my opinion! I’ve lived all over the country, so I’ve been to many different post offices over the course of my life. For the past three years, I’ve been using a PO Box with the Eastown USPS, and they have never disappointed me. The ladies working at this location are absolutely wonderful, thoughtful, kind and diligent! At this point, they know me by name and anticipate my needs before I even have to ask. The customer service is outstanding, and I honestly can’t say enough about how well they treat their patrons. Thank you so much Barb and Sarah, I genuinely adore you both, and I’m so grateful for the work that you do! I don’t get to stay long on any given trip to the post office since I’m always on my way to work when I stop in, but every time I get to interact with you, no matter how short, I feel truly happy! Thank you!”

“Forest Hills foods carries all part of the specialty items that our family enjoys. They also carry your groceries out to your car for you. Everyone working here tends to be extremely friendly. This is a small store but that also makes it easier to run in and just grab what you need and get out.”

“Robin is such a lifesaver. I was mailing larger packages for the first time and was trying to use the self-service kiosk but had to go to her for a question when she told me I needed to ship them as a box instead. I would have had all of my packages returned if not for her. Now I know what to do for next time but this was by far the best experience I’ve had at the post office. Even though they were super busy she was still so patient with me and nice with everyone. She deserves a raise.”

“It's unusual to say that you enjoy going to the post office. This one is great. They have their act together in every respect. I have a P.O. Box, and each time I go in to pay my rental fee, I get red carpet treatment. The place is clean and organized. If you happen to get stuck in line for some reason, even those tend to move quickly. It's always been a good experience for me.”

“The people of this USPS location saved our day! We had a passport application appointment at another USPS location (Kalamazoo), but they canceled our appointment without notice after we arrived. We came to this Byron Center location immediately after without an appointment. We knew it was a long shot, we explained our dilemma and asked if they could squeeze us in. And you know what? They did! They showed us grace and helped us with our applications! They could have said “No”, but they chose kindness and helpfulness! We are grateful to the folks who helped us today!”

“Had to come here because no one working in the hotel knew what to do with a properly stamped and addressed postcard. Nice branch, friendly competent worker, clean, bright. They must be a little short on space because they have their pumpkins up front instead of hidden from public view in the back.”
“It was my first time ever visiting this location. It was very busy shortly after I arrived, so there was a little bit of a wait. Plan time aside if you have to make a trip here. The clerk with the really cool glasses was one of the KINDEST humans I have interacted with at a mailing facility. The next time I need to mailing something, I will definitely be returning to this location.”

I’ve used this post office many times over the years and have never had any issues. The staff has always been professional, responsive, and willing to help whenever I’ve needed assistance. Whether I’m mailing something simple or have questions about shipping options, they’ve been patient and knowledgeable.
It’s easy to take reliable service for granted, but this location has earned my appreciation. Thank you to the team for providing dependable service and making each visit a positive experience.”

“I think a lot of people have a misunderstanding of what this place is. It's a distribution center, NOT a post office. They don't sell stamps, and they don't weigh packages. But you CAN drop off pre-labeled packages or pick up things that are held for you. They're pretty nice, and doing a good job.”

“Erica and Lynda are excellent communicators and are super sweet! I ask them to hold my parcel with an old address of mine on there. One of those orders when you have your old address attached to it and you push it through without a second thought. This post office came in clutch. You just need to bring in your tracking number, and the address itll be going to. Then just pickup 😄 thank you!”
