“Bill and Paul's Sporthaus was our scout troop's outfitter for a recent kayak trip in West Michigan. JJ quoted us a price that was better than anywhere else, with the flexibility of both tandem kayaks and single kayaks, including equipment drop-off and pick-up on our one-way trip. Zack helped us with equipment on the day of our trip. All of the equipment was in excellent condition, and communication was excellent. We were treated like VIPs the whole time, and we sincerely appreciate the care, time, and commitment to safety demonstrated by Bill and Paul's Sporthaus. We will definitely book again next time we're on the west side of MI.”
“I’m going to be honest! If you leave them anything other than 5 stars you are the problem I assure you!! Most helpful staff in West Michigan by far!!! Been to allof them many times. Prices are as cheap as anyone, and much cheaper than disc baron! Biggest rip off in the state! Sweet spot is decent as well but not Great Lakes level!”

“I’ve been looking yo get into fly fishing for quite some time and I had stopped by the shop just to check it out while in town and headed to another event. A few weeks later, my wife and I decided we’re gonna get some gear and start fishing. We stopped in and Rich got us set up and helped us out, but he wasn’t able to set my reel up with line due to his injury, so i had to come back in to get that done. Luckily, I was planning on making a trip back out that way soon anyhow. When I got there, the shop was closed and I was able to reach out to Scott l, who I chatted with the first visit, and he was kind enough to show up on his day off and set my reel up for me!
Great group of individuals. Very experienced folks who obviously enjoy fly fishing. Glad I stopped in randomly one weekend and was able to come back for their recommendations. Helped me out a lot!”

“Clean, quiet, and well organized store. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice variety of good looking clothes in a wide variety of sizes. I'm 6'4 and I was able to find plenty of clothes in my size. Best of all, since it's an outlet store, the prices are outstanding!”
“This store has everything you need to get outfitted to ski or snowboard and the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Both of our kids participate in the equipment exchange program that they offer which gives us the flexibility to trade up their gear when as the grow and progress. After snowboarding for 20 years, I decided to switch to skis and I didn't even know where to begin. Kate F helped me through the entire process of fitting me perfectly with new boots, skis and a beautiful Burton coat. She even did a heat molding process to make the boots even more comfortable for me. We will 100% be returning to Boyne Country Sports to purchase gear again in the future and of course, we will ask for Kate!”

“We discovered that if you own a NorthFace product that deteriorated you can return it for an exchange. Last week we took a jacket back but discovered that in order to return it, we had to go onto our computer and fill out all the paperwork. Because we are not 100% computer savvy, we asked the clerk, Nicholas, if he would do it for us — and he did! That is what we call excellent customer service. Thank you, Nicholas.!”

“I rolled in this store on a Tuesday morning fairly disheveled and in my "lazy day" sweat pants. I was still greeted by the employee and manager. The manager also took the time to help me find several pairs of shoes. He was polite, friendly and knew exactly the shoe I wanted. I left with 2 pair...the one I expected to get and a pair I just couldn't resist.”

“Our local gym stocks Foxy's and we think they feel and look the best of all the major brands. “Great service and goods. We went in for bats not knowing anything about length, drops, etc. Eden in the Wyoming (Michigan) store was so kind, so patient, and very, very knowledgeable. It was so great. We ended up buying a bat, some batting gloves and the protection plan on both of them as there is such a great value in them. Thanks, Eden!

“This is the best Cabela’s I’ve been to. Megabass, Great Lakes finesse, queen tackle, just about anything you could ever need here. They had ample supplies of almost everything and had a wide selection of baits. However, the lady who rang me up charged me twice for my tungsten weights, so I had to get a refund through customer service. Still, this place amazed me with its options. Much better than the Cabela’s in chesterfield that I often go to.”
