“Pulled into the shop at 4:20 pm on a Friday afternoon. Was expecting to have to leave my vehicle. The heat shield had fallen off and was rattling something fierce. The manager was able to do the fix while I waited. Fixed on 10 minutes and didn’t charge me a thing.
Tuffy has serviced 3 of my vehicles in the past 5 years, always professional, courteous and well within my budget. I will continue to have my vehicles serviced there.”
“Casey was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was incredibly fast to respond to all of the questions I had about the vehicle and the GM Family Discount process. He worked hard to make sure that I was aware of all the options I had available to me on the GMC Terrain and once I decided on what I wanted was able to get one delivered from another Lafontaine store the same day. He made sure I was aware of all of the benefits the GMC and Lafontaine provide. The dealership is clean and well let and has a great coffee and snack selection while you wait.”

“We were passing through East Lansing from out of town. All of a sudden I started hearing a terrible noise from my right front suspension. After calling a few other repair shops with no luck being 4 pm on a Friday, I got a call back that muffler man was able to get me in before they closed that evening. It ended up being a minor repair, they got us in and out quickly and were honest & friendly in the process. Thanks Muffler Man!

“Stopped at 8:30 Tuesday morning to get air in my right rear tire. These are all terrain light truck tires that require around 80 lb psi. Most convenient stores charge $2 for two minutes and their capacity is only about 50 lb. The young shop mechanic came out and topped off all four of my tires. Very friendly and helpful.”
“Needed a tired replaced at short notice. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Staff was quick to get everything done, made sure I got what I was looking for, and had me on my way with no issues.”
“I have an older car, 2009, it has 2016 tires on it. I was gifted some used tires and had them put them on......1 broken logout, one bad (gifted tire), and the rims were the wrong size. “I was traveling on Memorial Day and noticed that I had a tire with some metal wire showing on the inside wall, I stopped at a few places but most were closed and others said they couldn’t get it in today. I stopped at BJs about an hour before closing and although they were done taking in cars for the day, Bud, the supervisor was talking to me and went out to look at the tire, he said he would stay late if he needed to take care of the problem and put new sets on, I bought all 4 tires and they did a fantastic job!!! Thank you for taking care of our vehicle and making it happen when others couldn’t. Bud made a future customer out of me and my family, thanks again!!!”

“Recently purchased HV Battery for one of my hybrid vehicles from these guys, went 4 hours out of my way for one of the riskiest parts to buy on a used market. I was pleasantly surprised by the turn around, they promised a couple of days to get the part out, instead it took 2 hours and I got the call back from Curtis saying it’s ready, excellent work, never mind the fact that the battery was much better priced and in an ideal condition, and most importantly work perfectly! Thanks again!”

“Hard to get a hold of of on the phone, but is a small shop with only one or two guys working. Said they had the tires for my car and just to swing by. They did have them and installed them right away, even checked the alignment but weren't pushy with any services. Much better tired than what I drove in with.”

“I pulled into Belle Tire Frandor at 7:50pm tonight, 10 minutes before they closed. My car was shaking so bad I wasn't going to make it home 45 minutes away without a blowout. I was greeted by Alfredo who listened to me without any sign of annoyance (although I wouldn't blame him for feeling that, they were minutes from closing). He looked over my tires and confirmed a broken belt and showed me the damage it had done (I definitely wouldn't have made it, IMO, although he was too much of a professional to say that). Alfredo and Alex reviewed the short-term solutions to get me home tonight and then options for the long-term. Then Alfredo replaced the one tire while Alex helped me with financing, made sure the remaining three tires were accessible and got me set for having them replaced tomorrow. By the time Alex and I were done, my car was ready and Alfredo had also balanced the air pressures in the other tires and replaced some lug nuts that needed replacing.
I appreciate their professionalism, kindness, Alex's humor, and Alfredo's warmth wholeheartedly, and cannot recommend this team enough. They certainly have my business moving forward!!”
“Based on my experience at Belle tire, I recommend them.
Efficiency: I had an appointment for a small problem with my tire. I made an appointment for 9 AM, and I was out by 11 AM. Understanding a 9 AM appointment doesn't necessarily get you in right at 9 AM, I think that 2 hours in and out was reasonable for my problem.
Competency: I came in with a tire that leaked from 35 psi to 10 psi over the course of 2 days. They informed me I had a small nail, fixed it, and sent me on my way. I came in with a small problem, and they did nothing to exacerbate the issue or cause any additional issues.
Noise: minimal noise from the bay, and the televisions are at a reasonable volume. You can hear both, but I could easily have held a call without significant impact.”
“Last week I had such a pleasant oil change experience. I called 40 minutes ahead to make sure oil change services were still available for that day. I pulled in at 4:40 and the man in charge was apologetic that I'd have to wait about an hour for my oil change because the day crew was getting ready to leave (I was already expecting to wait, so this was not bothersome to me at all, but I thought his being apologetic about it was incredibly kind). Then he came in the waiting room to tell me the day crew could change the oil in 15 minutes, so it would be ready sooner than expected. On top of that, one of the crew members who changed my oil rang me up at the register and was so friendly! I figured most people would be disgruntled to do one more job at the end of their shift, but she had a happy demeanor and was very pleasant. I definitely think this crew went above and beyond and I wanted to commend them for their excellent customer service!”
