3022 S Cedar St, LansingI have been going to Elegant Pooch for years. Karen is my #1 go-to groomer, but everyone here is so nice and they all really really love dogs. My havanese came here every month of her eight- year life. She crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago. I just brought my older dog, Clover, in for the first time for a spa day. She is a lab mix and doesn’t require grooming, but loved to get a bath and all the attention. It was so nice to be back! I highly recommend Elegant Pooch, their facility is very clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and my dogs have always loved it there.

We've been taking our cats here since 2007, and thanks to Dr. H they've all lived long, healthy lives. Note: this is a sole practitioner; hours are limited, and visits are by appointment only. There seems to be some misinformation in some of the other comments. No, they do not declaw; on the contrary, there are posters against the practice in every exam room. No, you do not have to use their website for prescriptions; I've had scrips filled all over the place with no problem. And this is a doctor's office, not a store; if you need to buy flea medicine or other goods, there's a Petco a block and a half away.

202, 4125 Beaumont Rd, LansingI can't thank the wonderfully kind people at the MSU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory enough for their thoughtful and gracious handling of my precious companion of 25 years. This was such a devastating experience for us and they treated us with the utmost courtesy, compassion and expediency.
Nobody wants to suffer this kind of loss and their kindness really helped minimize the incomprehensible pain of our dear boy's sudden and unexpected departure. Their analysis and the cremation were completed quickly and professionally, and the results will be helpful in maintaining a healthy regimen for his surviving sister.
We are grateful to have this beautiful facility staffed by such amazing people within a reasonable distance.

Being vegetarian does not detract from it's deliciousness one bit and I've never had a single inclination to even try any meat-base foods at this gem: the breaded, queso-panela-stuffed poblanos in combination with the familial arroz and frijoles, vegetables, and the lightly whipped perfection with noticeable spice in their salsa cremosa verde make it some of the best in the State, easily. ¡My Mexican ancestry to theirs, les agradezco mil veces. The service is always friendly and efficient, usually don't have to wait too long for drinks or food or even being seated. (Depends on day and time obviously) As far as the ambiance goes, it's very lively and fun while also being a comfortable to sit and eat! Lastly, the food here is never not on point, I've never had anything I didn't like from here and am currently craving their rolls! Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it's not my preferred restaurant if I'm looking to spend a bit more on a sit down place, but it's next in line!
