Yankee Rebel Tavern
1493 Astor St, Mackinac IslandTotally a hidden gem. Our inns staff recommended it. Glad they did. We shared the prime rib and it was phenomenal. Came with grilled onions, mushrooms, cheese on a slice of toast at lunch. Super super good. Only thing I’d change is the fact they upcharge for fries. For the price a lot of other places on the island offer a nice side like mashed potatoes etc, here you only get chips included not sure if those are good? Maybe homemade? We just aren’t chop eaters. I can’t imagine fries being that big of an additional cost to offer them as an option.
We’d definitely visit again 🙌🏼

7641 British Landing Rd, Mackinac IslandFRIED PICKLES WERE GREAT. awesome spot to stop at for a bite. Hot dog was good being hungry but not the thick dogs. Lots of seagulls. Very cute. I'd totally come back.

Behind Island House Hotel, 6966 Main St, Mackinac IslandA little too much fat in the brisket, but otherwise perfect. I like a bit of slices from the brisket point to add some fat and moisture, but slices from the flat are needed to balance it out. The sauce was good.

I came here with my friends and family for my anniversary and this place was awesome food was on point i ordered there Nashville hot mac and there white fish dip and let me tell you it was delicious I also try there beers omg it was fantastic .. now let's talk about customer service guys as you enter there hostesses are so welcoming and well organized they found us a table in no time because it wasn't busy.. our server pearl was great you knew she knows how to handle her business thanks pearl😘 but most of all I like how these people work i saw a hostess cleaned multiple tables climb up and dust lights, swept the floor and still made it back to her hostess stand to help other customers ,my husband ask her how long has she been working here she said 4 years with a smile and I could tell she love her job. To the manager your doing a fantastic job the food came out in a blink of an eye that show how great your kitchen staffs are thumbs up guys grate team
