“Just your friendly neighborhood ace hardware. Shouldering multiple communities for all the tools and propane refills year round.
I supplement my work trucks with propane heaters during the winter months and these guys never complain, even on the coldest days. Hats off fellas.”
“I typically go to the Ace on Ecorse Rd. as it’s closer to our house, but after realizing they didn’t carry an item I was looking for, I had to run to the one on Eureka. What a difference in customer service! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the staff and asked if they could help find anything. They knew just what I was looking for, and exactly where it was located in the store. While browsing for another item, another staff member rushed over to help and took the time to help locate a specific screw I needed. A+ service and extremely friendly. This will be my go to store moving forward!”
“Josh help me and my 3 year old get the hardware we needed to fix my son toy monster truck. That was his first time in a hardware store and he really enjoyed the experience”
“Nice convenient small town hardware store with a little of everything. They are a little on the pricey side but it's nice to have a local hardware that could carry some little stuff when you need it. Lots of young staff but very friendly always asking if you need help with anything nice clean parking lot nice safe area to shop. Everything is usually pretty organized there's not much stuff out of place like the big box stores.”
“Update review : 02-27-26
Had an issue with a echo set of lawn tools I just bought. Battery issue. Echo sent me to Wayne Lawn and Garden. They seamlessly took care of it and surprised me with efficiency and helpfulness.
I had to update the review and go five star here for the great help today. I am back in action doing hard work !
Old review:
Slight wait to get to the parts department.
Felt a tad awkward at first. That quickly diminished when I dealt with the parts guy. He quickly helped me find an odd ball chain saw blade.
The place all be it new looking outside. Has seen it's fair share of traffic inside. More lighting and some scrubbed fresh floors and the showroom would be a tad more inviting. Initial impression !
I think it was priced a tad higher then other places after I checked. But they had it. I was there and he helped me allot.
Thanks Wayne Lawn and Garden :)”
“I went to purchase a flex gasoline for my heater. They directed me to the ailse ;and explain to me and, reassure myself about the connection on each end of the gasoline which was very helpful.”
“One of the best local hardware stores in the Downriver area. Been going there for decades and never leave looking for the item elsewhere. Highly recommend them for all your home improvement tasks and self do it your own projects.”

“We rented a mud buggy to move concrete from a concrete truck in the front yard to where we were pouring a pad in the backyard. The buggy worked great and we received great service. Everyone was extremely friendly and they hitched and unhitched the trailer for me.”
“Every time I go to this home Depot if I ever have questions there's always someone to help me. They always ask if I need help and I always feel like I walk out getting what I needed.”
“I ordered the Tr-Fuel kit for my Generac 7000EXL. The kit was packed real nice. Everything worked as it should after I modified the air filter housing (to access the choke lever).
I replaced the SS provided worm clamps as they slipped when tightening. The ones at NAPA worked better for some reason. All in all, very satisfied with the purchase. The generator now runs on propane, gas, and natural gas. Thank you Zach and CenturyFuel Products!”
“Great customer service and parts are always top of the line and the shipping omg they get it to you asap! I needed tires for the 24 mini bike race and they got them to be in a hurry! My GPS always takes me Studz! I used to live in Taylor it's the only thing I miss.”
“My fiance and I were looking for fencing for our new home. We had walked through the store but didn't see the wood fencing we were looking for. We asked a worker and he was most helpful in not only walking us through where the fencing was, to assisting us with what type of fence to purchase. Mundo (24 year old veteran) was exceptional at answering our questions and also assisted us with check-out and loading the fencing into our car. It's workers like this that need to be promoted and praised for their willingness to help customers and go out of their way to make sure assistance is given.”
“My boss sent me there for a specific type of caulk. I couldn't find it. I asked the first employee I saw, and the guy took me directly to it. I had zero problems.”
“I've done a ton of home projects large and small. Every time I went to this home Depot they had everything I needed. From the biggest lumber to hand tools, hardware everything. Always can find someone to help me. And my checkout was easy.
Now if I can remember to get everything I need that's another question. ?”

“I am beyond impressed with Saw and Specialty Corporation (SawSpec) in Romulus. I'm a hobbyist woodworker and noticed that my Ridge Carbide and Festool blades weren't cutting as well as they used to. I could pay to ship them off and lose them for weeks, but I decided to keep it local, and I'm so happy I did. I got my blades back in less than one week for way cheaper. Their customer service is incredible (Odette is amazing), and my blades look brand new.”
“Home Depot in Dearborn Heights is honestly one of my go-to spots when I’m doing stuff around the house. The store is clean, workers are easy to talk to, and they usually have everything I need without any hassle. Whether it’s tools, paint, or random little parts, I can count on finding it here. Checkout is quick and the whole place just makes the job easier. Solid spot for any project.”

“Before we hit the big box stores for anything, we check with Krzyske Brothers first! They are always there to help and very friendly...they really do appreciate our business and it shows!”
