“They carry alot of random items you may have missed while grocery shopping. They carry diapers/wipes which is a HUGE win for me when I need to grab some quick yet close.”

“Love the products from this place! Service is generally okay. The young lady is always in the same place every visit, leaning over the counter on her phone. That being said, they are happy to assist when asked, this is part of the atmosphere now when we visit. Anyway, I highly recommend stopping in, haven't had a negative experience yet, and we visit a few times a month.”

Today I bought tortillas that expired in may and eggs that did yesterday. When I mentioned it the cashier was rude and told me to go get another one. There were no other eggs in that price range that weren’t “out of date” and I did not have time to go back and look through all the tortillas in the hopes of finding a pack not expired. When I got home I made my microwave “TV dinner” that smells rancid. It had expired in 2024! The last time I shopped here I bought a can of hot dog chili that expired in 2023. The butchers meat there is the best in town though and most of the people who work there are kind and very helpful.

“Lovely small town market with a delightful staff. Keeps a broader variety of staple, dry goods and produce items. Carries meat as well as frozen meals. Staff are incredibly friendly, and is an active supporter of charities and food banks in the community.”
“I have a Kroger membership and love the benefits it offers, especially the fuel points. If you shop on Fridays and Saturdays, you can earn 4x the fuel points, which is amazing. Thanks to these points, I usually get at least $1.00 off per gallon of gas twice a month.The membership also includes free items and discounts on many products I regularly buy, making it a great value overall. Because of this, Kroger is the only grocery store I shop at regularly, except for fruit and vegetables. While I usually prefer buying produce at a farmers’ market, Kroger’s selection isn’t bad at all.Overall, the membership and fuel points program really save me money and make Kroger my go-to for groceries and fuel.”
“Mostly happy with service. Groceries are competitive, however some can and are bought at the big box because of size and better price. Non perishable. Imo the meat is better then most. Even as good as a local butcher, but better price. Will continue shopping here for most items.”

“No drugs around like I was hoping, but it's a cool place to loiter and the employees are pretty cool. Prices are decent too especially for this area. Will visit/do business again.”
“My favorite local liquor store. If there is something that you would like them to stock just speak to the owner and he will do his best to have it ordered. He has gotten in at least five different items for me including my favorite whiskey (Traverse City Cherry) and Bawls Soda.
Also the food in the deli is fantastic, especially the fried chicken.”
“Monroe Meijer store has practically everything you need
The pharmacy is very easily located near the service center public bathrooms are handicapped extensible. You can easily find an employee to offer help and assistance. I go to Monroe Meijer store for all my needs and groceries at least once a week if not twice a week”
“In my personal opinion this is a smaller Meijer compared to other Meijer but I do like shopping at this Meijer on this particular trip though they seem to be out of quite a few things that I was looking for other than that the store is always clean and the workers are friendly”

“I knew this liquor store for the past 30 years. staff are great, Kim, George and Magi are really knowledgeable and helpful the owner John is awesome, this store is his dear place, he takes care of his customers like family. always busy with the locals. I truly recommend EJ's Liquor store”
“Very good and honest owners. I was in a rush one morning and stopped by to pick up a few things. The card machine stopped working and it was one of the few times I wasn’t carrying cash on me.A couple weeks go by and I received a phone call from Villa’s credit card company. They said Isaac looked into this and it did in fact charge my card and they were refunding both charges that him and I thought were canceled.There’s not many people that go through this effort to make things right. Especially without me even knowing.Thanks!”
“Very busy place on the east side of Monroe. I've gotten to know quite a few of the neighbors here and they are all helpful and friendly and watch out for me while I'm there. The carryout has everything you can imagine and support local community events.”

And David is so helpful and doesn't matter if he's working the floor or if someone at the register needs help or customer needs help.. He's fantastic. He jumps in and takes initiative and so helpful. It's nice to see how much of a a team player and customer pleaser he is!”
“Customer Service is awful. If your purchase is over $100, they won't take it back without a receipt. They lost a customer that spends thousands of dollars a year at Meijer over a 110 dollar return. According to the store manager it was a "business" decision not a "customer service" decision. Apparently no one told him you don't have a business without customers.”
