“This probably one of the less assuming Genisys's (that's a real word I just made up), smaller and tucked away in the corner of a strip mall but the service is exceptional, particularly Shawanda Estelle. I applied for a small personal loan and she was beyond helpful. She made me feel like I was her top priority and genuinely a sweet, kind person. Several months later my daughter was looking to finance a car and I knew right where to send her, and once again the personal service was outstanding, which in turn made me look good in my daughter's eyes. The app is user friendly and intuitive, my only small critique is the ATM. Abit outdated. To make a deposit it needs to feed you an envelope, you fill it out and feed it back. Because of this it has to be manually checked in by staff which takes longer to hit your account which can take a couple days.”

Jose was polite, helpful and took the time to address my questions and provide me with clear answers. She also looked at my financial portfolio and recommended lower interest rate loans that would same me money. “Had a fraudulent charge on my debit card. Went to Pontiac office, was serviced by Jennie. She was very efficient, informative and took care of the situation and explained what would happen going forward. Got a new card, Pin number within 10 minutes.
So glad the lobby is open now to have the interaction with a real person.

“Breath of fresh air! Wife and I have been with banks for many years moving money to best cd rates & mon.mkt accounts. So prior to becoming a member here, the banks gave us the full court press to talk with their financial planner though we made it clear we don't desire one. We only park our money in decent % rate CD's. Here at genisys we didn't have that occurr. Extremely friendly knowledgeable staff. We hope to remain here, what a outstanding credit union we have here in Oxford.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had such a great experience at the Chase Bank in Oxford that I felt like I had to take a moment and give a huge shoutout to Kelly. She went way above and beyond for me today. I was in a bit of a time crunch — had to grab cash for a car I was buying last-minute down in Inkster from a buddy — and I completely forgot to stop at the bank during normal hours.
I called right before they closed (literally like 4:58 PM) and explained my situation, and Kelly didn’t hesitate at all. She told me she would stay open just a little later so I could make it in and grab what I needed. I pulled up at 5:09 PM, and she was still there with a smile, ready to help.
That kind of kindness, patience, and flexibility is so rare these days. She easily could’ve said “sorry, we’re closed,” but instead she treated me like a person, not just another customer. I really appreciated how understanding and efficient she was — and honestly, it helped save my entire evening from going off the rails.
Kelly, thank you again for going out of your way. You made a stressful situation way less stressful, and I seriously appreciate you for it. If there’s any way for this review to reach a manager or supervisor — give this woman a raise! She deserves it.”
