There’s a heavy focus on local and healthy products. The deli is absolutely amazing and usually by far the most veggie / vegan friendly selection in the area. Plenty of parking in the huge lot that’s shared with a fantastic coffee shop and it’s right across the street from a beautiful little lakeside park.”

    “It's very clean and well lit, the employees are always working hard but I have a few gripes. 1. Doing bottle deposit is frustrating as they have an older unit in the back or something so every can needs to be rinsed out or they won't take it. I understand it's probably because sugar gunks things up quickly. 2. The shelves are stocked but sometimes there's weird omissions to brand flavors. 3. They seemingly only have one sign about being towed at only 1 entrance/exit and it just states that anyone can be towed Otherwise to add some more compliments, the sushi here is really good, they prepare the sushi in store every day, and lastly the pharmacy employees are super nice.”

    “On Monday the 19th we stopped at the $ General. Our truck would not start after turning it off. Jose was on shift that day - He was so helpful and rushed outside and moved his truck and we were able to jump our vehicle. We were so appreciative and he did so w/a smile and genuine kindness.     Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
