“I want t o give high praise to Deon who works at the Post Office in downtown Plymouth, Michigan . He always greets you with kind words and always takes the time to make you feel special. It is a small post office with only two people serving customers at the front counter and often Deon is there alone while the other employee is working in the back. Still Deon is up front to be the friendly employee to all who enter. I am 78 years old and thankful when I go to that often busy post office Deon is there. Kathy White”

“Shoutout to the Garden City post office! I had a package that I desperately needed, and it had been delayed for whatever reason with no updated delivery date. I filled out a form online through USPS, and within the hour, someone from the Garden City post office called me.
She explained the reason for the delay, let me know she would follow up the next day to make sure it was delivered or give any updates, and when I mentioned that I needed it by a certain time before work, she even put me on a quick hold to check on it. A moment later, she came back and said they were going to try to have it delivered within the next hour.
Truly so grateful for the kindness, communication, and effort!”
“On 9/1/21, I experienced a rude female USPS employee. The blue drop box states 5:00 p.m. collection pick up time. It was 4:34 p.m. when the employee rolled away the mail bin from the blue drop box. She refused to answer me in a professional manner, if the mail that gets placed into the drop box at the present time 4:35 p.m., will not be collected or processed until the following day?”

“I am writing to share my positive experience at your post office this morning. I was assisted by an employee named Veronica while sending several batches of certified mail.
Despite being the only staff member available and managing a high volume of items, Veronica remained calm, focused, and professional throughout the process. I appreciated her consistent kindness and courtesy, even as I paused between batches to allow other customers to be served. Her composure and excellent service made a significant impression on me.
Needless to say, other customers didn't thank me for my gesture, but it doesn't matter, I was happy because I found there is still kindness around.”

Things that may seem easy and like common sense to an outside observer, was confusing to me. Yolanda helped out with a big smile on her face and we joked and laughed poking fun of me. With his help, I made the correction, he did not charge me again, and the package arrived in about 8 days! I have never experienced the type of customer service this USPS location provides!”
